It’s Hellboy vs. The Zodiac Killer as Ron Perlman Challenges Ted Cruz to a Wrestling Match

As if politicians couldn’t sink any lower, actor Ron Perlman has been in a Twitter fight with Congressman Matt Gaetz, Congressman Jim Jordan, and Senator Ted Cruz.

Things started after Gaetz made a comment about Perlman playing a racist on Sons of Anarchy, not realizing this is what actors do, they play horrible people. We’ll chalk this up to Gaetz probably drinking again.

We feel bad for the staffer who has to explain what an actor is and that what he’s watching on tv generally is not real.

Ted Cruz stepped in challenging Ron Perlman to wrestle Jim Jordan, who you might know for helping cover up sexual abuse at Ohio State. Yes, Ted Cruz is such a tough guy he offered up someone else to fight.

Hiding behind someone else didn’t go unnoticed by Perlman.

Perlman then countered that he’d rather wrestle Ted Cruz and kick his ass upping Cruz’s $10,000 towards charity to $50,000 towards charity.

Yes, this is where 2020 politics stands.

Duke Nukem’s Voice Says No to Republican Campaigns

Duke-Nukem-3DA top Republican Presidential campaign wanted Jon St. John to do some voice over work for them. Why do we care and why are we reporting it?

You might know St. John as the voice of the popular video game character Duke Nukem, one that’s known for his humorous quips.

Writing on Facebook, St. John said:

I don’t like to turn down jobs…especially when it’s a national ad campaign that pays pretty well. But I have a conscience and could not accept a gig to be the advertising voice of the Republican party’s leading candidate for president. Thanks for the kind offer, but I will sleep just fine at night knowing I made a choice I can live with. Meanwhile I’m happy to be recording a new video game today

Asked by The Verge to clarify which candidate it was, St. John said

I should have written ‘a leading GOP candidate for president’. It might have been Trump or Cruz. Either way, I would not have done it.

Trump? Cruz? Rubio’s team did list comics as an interest. Who do you have as the candidate?

Ted Cruz Gets a Comic Coloring Book

CruzCover_frontI could make a lot of jokes about the reading level of this still being too high for Senator Ted Cruz and his supporters, among other things, but I’ll do my best. Really Big Coloring Books, Inc. has released a “comic book-style” coloring book featuring Senator Cruz, Ted Cruz to the Future — Comic Coloring Activity Book.

The description of the book sells it as a “non-partisan, fact-driven view of how Texas Sen. Rafael Edward ‘Ted’ Cruz became a U.S. senator and details, through his quotes and public information his ideas for what he believes will help America grow.”

The comic coloring book covers his youth up to recent times, including his “fillibuster” in the Senate this past September 2013. That’d be the filibuster he admitted he only did to build his own email and donor list and cost our nation millions of dollars and burdened hard working Americans. And, in the end it achieved nothing, other than building his own list. But I digress….

In the description for the coloring book, publishing company says of the senator:

Cruz’s beliefs and actions stir much emotion in those following the political realm, he is a modern ‘superhero’ to many and looked upon in adoration and abomination by some.

While the book is not an “endorsement” of the Senator, he is described as a superhero and it’s aimed at groups, clubs and organizations looking to indoctrinate our youth, or entertain their adult members. I think it’d be perfect for Tea Party organizations, though I’m sure they only have red, white and blue crayons to use. Definitely no brown or black ones.
