NYCC 2018: Sleeping Giant Brings Infinity Editions While Ominous Press Debuts

Premiere entertainment company Sleeping Giant will be joining with Ominous Press to make a splash at New York Comic Con on Oct. 4-7. Setting up a massive new Fan Experience and exhibit space at #1804 at the Jacob Javits Center. The Sleeping Giant fan experience at NYCC includes autograph sessions by a stellar lineup of creators including Jim Starlin, John Romita, Jr., Marc Guggenheim, Bart Sears, Graham Nolan, Ron Marz, Mike McKone, Tom Raney, Keith Giffen, Joe Rubinstein, Andy Smith, Paul Harding, Craig Rousseau, and many more! Autograph sessions in collaboration with Spencer Beck and The Artist’s Choice.

NYCC will be Sleeping Giant’s launch pad for it’s Infinity Editions line, featuring exclusive signed books by cosmic legends Jim Starlin, George Perez, Ron Lim, Tom Raney, Joe Rubinstein among many others! Sleeping Giant’s NYCC presence will also include a wealth of rare Stan Lee-signed comics for sale. Debuting at NYCC is the Infinity Edition Reality (Red), featuring a copy of Thanos #13 (2017), with a lenticular Secret Wars homage variant cover by artist Jacen Burrows, based on the classic original image by acclaimed artist Mike Zeck. The edition is hand-signed by Thanos creator and cosmic legend Jim Starlin, Thanos writer and rising superstar Donny Cates, and original Secret Wars artist Mike Zeck. The Infinity Edition Reality (Red) is housed in a handsome portfolio with a certificate of authenticity, and a CGC-sized Vault System case that can be opened and then re-sealed. The edition is strictly limited to 100 copies, and priced at $149 MSRP. However, event-only pricing of $99 is being instituted for sales at NYCC.

A series of Infinity Edition releases will follow, bringing to the collectibles market an enticing line of themed cosmic collectibles, each signed by an all-star array of creators. NYCC patrons will also have first access to Ron Lim’s Thanos Legacy #1 variant edition, featuring Thanos and Cable, which will debut at Ace Comic Con in Chicago. Limited to only 3,000 copies, Sleeping Giant will offer an edition signed by Jim Starlin, Ron Lim and others.

Ominous Press, sister company to Sleeping Giant, will be making its NYCC debut at booth #1804, bringing along its full catalog of comics, graphic novels, and art books, as well as previews of exciting upcoming projects.

Today Sleeping Giant debuts the first offering in the new Infinity Editions line, featuring autographs by acclaimed cosmic creators, as well as innovative, pristine packaging.
