Voice directors and actors Christopher R. Sabat and Seán Schemmel will join the guest list of Otakon 2015, Otakorp. Inc. is pleased to announce. Both are best known for their work on Dragon Ball Z, including the new film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.

Sabat could almost be considered “the voice of Dragon Ball Z,” having voiced Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Mr. Popo, Kami, Jeice, Recoome, Korin, Burter, Shenron, Zarbon, Guru, Porunga, and countless others in the popular Dragon Ball Z series, as well voice directing the series. He has lent his voice to countless other roles in the anime and videogame world, including Alex Luis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist, Roronoa Zoro in One Piece, Ayame Sohma in Fruits Basket, Saiga Tatsumi in Speed Grapher, Kurogane in Tsubasa Chronicles, Daisuke Jigen in Lupin III, Garland in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Rundas in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Alex D in Deus Ex: Invisible War, and both Captain Smiley and Star in Comic Jumper.

Sabat owns Okratron 5000, a game audio and voice-over production studio in Dallas, Texas.

Since being discovered at the Marionette Theatre, Schemmel has voiced Goku, King Kai and Nail in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball GT.  Other notable roles include: Amidamaru and Rio in Shaman King; Constable Biggles, Sh’Okanabo, Master Kahn (and many others) in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; Onsokumaru in Ninja Nonsense; about 12 different thumbs in Thumb Wrestling Federation and Gonard in Kappa Mikey.  In addition to Dragon Ball Z Kai, Schemmel can be heard as Paradox in the feature film Yu-Gi-Oh 5d¹s Bonds Beyond Time and as Grings Kodai in (Pokemon) Zoroark: Master of Illusions.

Schemmel has also adapted for English and voice directed the following anime series: Space Pirate Mito, Sadamitsu: The Destroyer, Midori Days, and Ah! My Goddess. Sabat and Schemmel’s appearance is sponsored by FUNimation.
