Don’t Hang Up on Make Mark Ruffalo. You Wouldn’t Like Him Angry.

Actor Mark Ruffalo who plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk has lent his voice to the Progressive Change Campaign Committee to help find volunteers and get out the vote for this Tuesday’s election. The actor channeled his green on-screen alter-ego in the call:

Hi, this is actor and climate change activist Mark Ruffalo, calling with the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. Please don’t hang up. That will make me angry. You won’t like me when I’m angry.

The actor is a regular when it comes to progressive causes often lending his voice, time, money, and star-power for environmental causes especially.

Four Words: Elizabeth. Warren. Comic. Book.

Comics and politics have regularly collided with politicians and organizations quoting characters or using iconography from them in their speeches and emails. But, a limited edition comic as a fundraiser for a political organization? That could be a new one.

On Thursday the Progressive Change Campaign Committee sent out an email with the subject “Four words: Elizabeth. Warren. Comic. Book.” which promoted a limited edition biographical comic about Senator Elizabeth Warren by Storm Comics for a donation of just $6. The comic is limited to just 500 copies.

Storm Comics is a publisher who regularly releases biographical comics and their “Female Force” line of comics focus on well known women such as First Lady, Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton,  Queen Elizabeth II, and Joan Jett among others.

This comic follows Warren from her childhood through her election to the Senate.
