Godzilla comes to the world of Sonic the Hedgehog this Summer!

The fan-favorite worlds of Sonic the Hedgehog and Godzilla are set to collide for the first time ever in comic books.

Speeding and stomping into comic shops this summer is Sonic x Godzilla #1, a fun-filled celebration of both beloved franchises by writer Nick Marino and artist Jack Lawrence.

The first issue has a main cover by Jack Lawrence and Reggie Graham with other covers by Mauro Fonseca, Min Ho Kim, Clayton Crain, Mico Suayan, Natalie Haines, and Miles Arq.

When the King of the Monsters and other iconic kaiju mysteriously arrive in the Blue Blur’s world, the brilliant and evil Dr. Eggman will try to harness the power of the kaiju for his own nefarious goals. Only Sonic and his amazing allies – including Amy, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow – will be able to stand in the villain’s way and try to send the giant monsters back to their own world.

The fan-favorite crossover speeds back into the DCU! Following the runaway success of DC x Sonic the Hedgehog in 2025, DC and SEGA of America are teaming up once again for a brand-new five-issue comic book adventure uniting the Justice League with Sonic the Hedgehog and Team Sonic, featuring more character pairings for fans to look forward to. The next chapter of this blockbuster collaboration begins May 5, 2026, with DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Legion #1.

The worlds of DC Comics’ Justice League and SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog collide once more in another thrilling crossover filled with action, adventure, laughs, and perils. Mysterious mechanical rings have appeared across both worlds, linking them together and unleashing all things wonderful, worrisome, and weird. IDW Publishing and Sanrio  have announced a partnership to bring kawaii to the comic book industry with supercute Hello Kitty comics that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages. As one of the most beloved pop culture icons in the world, Hello Kitty has been spreading friendship, kindness and joy for generations. 

The new series begins with Hello Kitty: Hello World!, a brand-new comic book series featuring a classic and lovable depiction of Sanrio’s characters as Hello Kitty and Friends go on a world tour to solve a riddle. As they discover new riddles around the globe, they will also meet new characters in every single issue! From Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki and animated artist Cody Lemieux, the debut issue goes on sale July 22, 2026 – the same week as San Diego Comic-Con!
