The celebrated art festival offers attendees an exclusive experience like no other. The intimate atmosphere offers enthusiastic fans and collectors the opportunity to engage in conversation and purchase original art from world renowned comic book artists in a stunning location. The three-day event begins Friday, April 24th, with an opening reception overlooking the breathtaking lake and gardens of the historic Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Lake Como, Italy, and will run for two full days, Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival is a unique event, with a focus solely on the art of comics, crafted by the organizers of the Big Wow Comic Fest in California and the Paris Comic Expo. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival VIP Ticketing offers Special Blu-Ray Edition of the Legend of Kingdom Come

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival will have three Vampirella #1 exclusive variant covers by festival guests Mark Raats, Olivier Vatine, and Yannick Corboz available at the event. The covers are part of the Dynamite Entertainment relaunch of Vampirella with writer Christopher Priest and artist Ergün Gündüz. Vampirella #1 — keeps its legacy numbering marking this issue also as #676. The Vatine and Corboz covers will be available for purchase directly from the artists at the festival. There are 2 versions of the Raats cover; the trade dress cover (limited run of 400 copies) will be available for purchase directly from the artist at the festival while the virgin cover (limited run of 100 copies) will be included with every VIP Ticket. VIP Ticketing ends April 22, 2025.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival will also feature an exclusive Blu-Ray cover edition of The Legend of Kingdom Come, a documentary film about the making of the legendary comics series that will be included with every VIP Ticket. VIP Ticketing ends April 22, 2025. In addition, everyone who attends the international premiere of the Legend of Kingdom Come at the Lake Como Comic Art Festival will receive the exclusive Blu-Ray for free.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival has unveiled a stunning new logo designed by celebrated artist Bill Sienkiewicz, announced its first wave of 2024 guests, and debuted its new, prestigious Mattiniero Level. The celebrated art festival, now in its fifth edition, offers fans and collectors an intimate opportunity to meet and purchase original art from world renowned artists at a luxury destination in Italy. This year’s guest list includes first time attendees Jordi Bernet, Bill Morrison, David Petersen, Glenn Fabry, David Finch, Philip Tan, John Romita Jr., and Charles Vess, along with returning guests Frank Cho, Juanjo Guarnido, Tula Lotay, and Bill Sienkiewicz. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival will commence on Friday May 17th 2024, at an opening reception overlooking the lake and gardens of the historic Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Lake Como Italy, followed by two full days of attendees interacting with some of the most renowned comic book artists from around the world. 

To celebrate the unveiling of the new logo, Lake Como Comic Art Festival will be doing a giveaway of a Sienkiewicz sketch on their website. Sienkiewicz’s artwork has been exhibited at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro; galleries in Paris, Barcelona, and Tuscany; Spain’s famed La Semana Negra Festival; and dozens of other locations. He has produced work for advertising campaigns for Nike, MTV, and Nissan; dozens of feature films; the 2006 Winter Olympics; and magazines such as Entertainment Weekly and Spin

Tickets for the 2024 Festival, on sale soon, will include “The Mattiniero” level, an exclusive introductory package that includes show tickets and bonus art.

Having generated a huge amount of buzz with the announcement of their initial line-up earlier this year, Lake Como Comic Art Festival (LCCAF) are upping the ante with a whole raft of new guests who will be attending the fourth edition of the festival on the banks of Lake Como from May 12-14, 2023.

Tickets are running low and sold on a first-come-first-served basis for this year’s festival which is only a month away. Situated in the idyllic grounds of Villa Erba in Cernobbio, on the banks of Lake Como, Italy, this is a destination event like no other.
