Hellmouth #1 is Soul-ed Out Before Release and Getting a Second Printing

BOOM! Studios has announced that Hellmouth #1, the highly anticipated premiere issue kicking off an all-new Buffy and Angel event series from writers Jordie Bellaire and Jeremy Lambert and artist Eleonora Carlini, has sold out at the distributor level before its on-sale date of October 9, 2019.

In order to meet the overwhelming demand from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios is fast-tracking the release of Hellmouth #1 Second Printing Variant, so it can arrive in comic shops on October 16, 2019. Due to this printing being fast-tracked and high demand, quantities are limited and orders may be allocated. This second printing will feature an all-new cover by superstar artist Dan Mora.  

From beneath you, it devours…Buffy and the Scooby Gang will have to overcome recent fractures and learn to trust each other again as they race to close the Hellmouth before Evil can be unleashed on, first, Sunnydale, and then, the world. Meanwhile, Angel, the vampire cursed with a soul, arrives in town to seek his redemption by doing whatever it takes to destroy the path to Hell…and no human, demon, or Slayer will stand in his way.

The first printing of Hellmouth #1, featuring cover art by Jenny Frison, a variant cover by acclaimed illustrator and movie poster artist Kyle Lambert, and a variant connecting cover by artists Kelly & Nichole Matthews that connects to Hellmouth prelude issue, Angel #5 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer #8, will officially be available for sale on October 9, 2019 at local comic book shops or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. A first printing of the variant cover by Kyle Lambert with a full foil treatment will be available for sale on October 30, 2019 at local comic book shops or at the BOOM! Studios webstore.

BOOM! Studios Releases a First Look at Pandora’s Legacy

BOOM! Studios has released a first look at Pandora’s Legacy, an all-new original graphic novel from writer Kara Leopard along with the art duo of Kelly and Nichole Matthews arriving in stores November 2018

What starts out as a typical family vacation to their grandparents house goes sideways when Charlie, Janet, and Trevor Panagakos accidentally break an old jar that was hidden away deep in the woods….revealing they’re descendants of Pandora and their family’s tasked with protecting a certain famous box. Now on the run, the Panagakos have to figure out how to capture all the monsters that have escaped the jar…and save the rest of their family before it’s too late. Between talking cats, trying not to drop their phone, and making new friends, this is one vacation that these kids will never forget.

Based on the successful Kickstarter campaign featuring a beautifully illustrated field guide to the story’s mythological monsters, Pandora’s Legacy brings the creatures to life in this new original graphic novel, with a cover by Kelly and Nichole Matthews.
