This wicked expert of witchcraft claims to be assisting heroes such as Wiccan and Nico Minoru investigate mysterious “Symbiomancy” occurrences. However when magic is in the air, nothing is as it seems. Even a friendly face like Spider-Man (Symbiote) can become a villainous new foe.
REVENGE OF LEGENDS EVENT
Winter Soldier has had enough, and been used as a punching bag one too many times. He’s gathered his buddies from Realm of Legends for the Summoner to take on over multiple weeks, ready to take revenge with their new found power. The Realm of Legends Event will cap off with new permanent Challenge content, but be sure to defeat each week while you can to maximize rewards! For Summoners with a worthy resolve, overcoming these challenges will reward you handsomely.
★PHASE 1 [August 12 – September 9]
○Revenge of Legends Quest: An inversion of the REALM OF LEGENDS. Face down multiple weeks of punishing fights and challenging Champions to show that The Summoner is truly the most epic force within The Battlerealm. This full Quest will take place over several weeks, with only its FINAL week’s challenge remaining after this month is over. So Summoners will want to rush to this Boss Fight if they want to play the full (and challenging) experience.
○Retribution of Legends Side Quest: Over four weeks, players will face down the hardest challenges The Contest has to offer, but will be given the upper hand via custom Nodes to ensure this battle feels truly triumphant, not purely punishing. Keep up the fight to earn a free RONAN and take out the final defenders.
○Revenge of Legends Realm Event: Defeat opponents in the Revenge of Legends Quest or Retribution Side Quest.
○Bonus! Defeat a Retribution opponent with a Saga Champion, defeat the final boss in the Retribution of Legends Side Quest, complete a Revenge or Retribution Quest Objective, complete a Target Dummy Objective Tier, and complete the “Revenge is…” or “A Dish Best Served Cold” objectives.
★ PHASE 2 begins on August 26 and runs through September 9! Keep an eye out for Hero Shard Arenas, Arena Solo events, a 7-Hour Login Crystal reward, new Battlepass, exclusive player profile pics, and emotes!

BLACK TARANTULA
Carlos LaMuerte is not the first Black Tarantula, and he won’t be the last. After his wife fled to New York with their son and his heir, Carlos followed, bringing his strength to a world of Super Heroes, Super Villains, and ninjas!
★EVENT QUEST: Last Laughs [July 8 – August 5]: Black Tarantula brings the Summoner into a strange case where lethal laughs are spreading through The Contest. The Summoner faces many mysteries. The first of them is who to trust, as crime boss Black Tarantula approaches them for help. It seems lethal laughter is taking over heroes and they have been sent to trash Tarantula’s corner of town. Signs point to friends, foes, and a fire-covered HOBGOBLIN (PHIL URICH)! Will this setup have a punchline, or a flatline?
WEB OF CORRUPTION MOTION COMIC
Something slithers from the shadows of The Contest and it looks to make The Battlerealm into its newest host. Symbiote menaces, Chronoserpent echoes, and masked menaces are in abundance as The Summoner tries to keep their Champions from being the next ones trapped in this wicked web!
★Spider-Man Noir is already on the scene and is investigating the many multiversal mysteries that have been baffling The Battlerealm! Symbiotes, crime bosses, Chronoserpent Champions, shadowy spells, and secrets abound as players enter into this Noir mystery.
SYMBIOTIC BONDS SQUAD BUILDER EVENT
The SQUAD BUILDER returns! The battle between Spider-Man and Symbiotes rages on as players try to finish each match with the most valuable Squad composition possible. Now better than ever, Squad sizes have improved. From July 15 through August 5, players can gather the Symbiotes from across the realm and assemble the PERFECT Squad to maximize rewards. Participating Champions include Spider-Verse Champions, Symbiotes and a mix of Spidey’s Friends and Foes.
★After assembling the best squad, players can choose a regular opponent or directly challenge the final boss. They’ll have five opportunities to improve their squad before being forced to take on the final boss.
★After the final boss has been eliminated, players will earn points based on their final Squad score.
★Claim rewards from Milestones in Weekly Clash Realm Events. The top 50% of Summoners will also earn points in a special Alliance Web-Spinner Event where they’ll claim the best prizes.
★Squads scoring will be returning to poker style hands similar to the first iteration of Squad Builder. For lucky players, two NEW [Multiversal] Champions may join the fight to help build Squad compositions. Getting a Multiversal Champion in a Squad all but guarantees an increased Squad score. The higher/harder the hand, the more points the Squad will be worth!

Descendant of the Captain Marvel lineage, Phyla-Vell uses her Kree and artificially created Eternal physiology to protect the cosmos. While fighting the Phalanx, Phyla became the Avatar of Death to save her romantic partner Moondragon, gaining new abilities and her new title: Martyr.
SHATTERSTAR
Shatterstar, Gaveedra Seven, is a mutant gladiator from the Mojoverse and the time-travelling son of Longshot and Dazzler. Due to his time in the Mojoverse, Shatterstar became extremely skilled in swordsmanship.

SPLASH INTO THE CONTEST WITH HOT CHAMPIONS
The aquatic WAVE arrives alongside a newly improved Summoner’s Choice (fan-voted) re-work of GHOST RIDER, riding in to heat up the shores of The Battlerealm!Players can splash down and acquire Wave on May 28, while the Ghost Rider re-work will be unleashed on May 14.

WAVE
Pearl Pangan is a swift swimmer hailing from Cebu, Philippines. During an opportunity to use her talents in a study of swimmers, a raid on the facility led to discovering her power of hydrokinesis: the ability to manipulate water. With her newfound powers, she took up the mantle of hero as ‘Wave’, fighting alongside Triumph Division and Agents of Atlas.
GHOST RIDER (REWORK)
Tricked by the demonic being Mephisto into selling his soul to save a loved one, stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze soon found himself bonded to the Spirit of Vengeance, a being of almost unlimited power from Hell itself. With the power to control Hellfire as well as his mystical Hell Cycle and Hell Chains, Ghost Rider has turned against Mephisto’s purpose and instead uses his newfound abilities to protect the innocent and cast judgment upon the wicked.
EVENT QUEST: In Hot Water [May 6–June 3]: Mephisto is invading Atlantis in search of hidden treasures, and his fiery foe Ghost Rider is on the scene to stop his fiendish plans. However, Namor would prefer aquatic assistance on the team. So Pearl Pangan, aka WAVE, has arrived on The Contest’s shores to help with this devilish dilemma. Genetic engineer Lester Verde AKA DOCTOR BONG is joining The Contest alongside the brilliant, megalomaniacal criminal RUBY THURSDAY!Players will have the opportunity to obtain Ruby Thursday on April 9 , while Doctor Bong can be obtained on April 23 or acquire Doctor Bong by completing objectives to receive milestone prizes during his 3-month long Double Track event beginning April 8.
