Drawing inspiration from the original Masters of the Universe toy line to 200x and beyond, the definitive Mondo Buzz-Off boasts a brand-new design incorporating an armored exoskeleton over glossy muscular tissue and articulated translucent wings.

Available for 10 days only, the deluxe Buzz-Off 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition comes complete with four swappable portraits as well as an array of swappable hands and weapons, blending classic character features with awesome power ups like a huge axe and shield.

The figure was created by the Heroic Mondo Warriors you know and trust, including Emiliano Santalucia, Florian Bertmer, Hector Arce and Peter Santa-Maria (Concept Design), Tommy Hodges (Sculpt), Mark Bristow (Paint), Florian Bertmer (Packaging Art), Jordan Christianson (Packaging Design) and Raúl Barrero (Photography).

The Thing’s MacReady gets a 1/6 scale Timed Edition figure from Mondo

Mondo is dropping their long-awaited MacReady 1/6 scale figure, inspired by 1982’s The Thing from Universal Pictures, complete with cloth and faux leather fabric elements plus a slew of swappable hands, heads and weapons. He’ll be available as both a Regular Edition and a deluxe Timed Edition, which also includes the exclusive dog and spider-head creatures. 

This figure feels like it’s been to Antarctica and back, and we appreciate your patience and excitement while we got everything perfect. It took quite a crew to realize Joe Allard’s design, including incredibly detailed sculpts by Pichet Pitsuwan and Matt Black, spot-on paints by Viola Wittrocka, Hector Arce and Ed Bradley, and cut and sew wizardry from Tim Hanson. And of course we needed Raúl Barrero’s photography skills to bring U.S. Outpost #31 to life. (The only problem now is that we still don’t know which one of them is THE THING!)
