Jason Priestly, of 90201 fame, is joining the cast of the Captain Canuck animated series. In Captain Canuck – The Prometheus Protocol, Priestly will voice the brother of Captain Canuck, Michael Evans.

Captain Canuck – The Prometheus Protocol is the second instalment of the Animated Web Series follows on the heels of the wildly successful Captain Canuck- Fool’s Gold, and like the first, also features the voice talent of Kris Holden-Ried as Captain Canuck, Paul Amos as the villainous Mr. Gold, Laura Vandevoort as BlueFox and Emmy Award Nominee Tatiana Maslany as Redcoat.

The new series is being written by Kalman Andrasofszky who is also behind the Captain Canuck reboot by Chaptherhouse Comics.

The character is celebrating his 40th anniversary having been created in 1975. The latest series to feature him launched in May 2015, and has sold over 75,000 copies so far.
