Hero Collector unveils the Deadpool Heavyweights Figurine Collection!

Hero Collector is adding a new line to its “Heavyweights” range of 1:18 scale metal statuettes: Deadpool!

These hand-painted models showcase Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, in costumes and poses straight from the comics, all in full cast metal. Each highly-detailed figurine stands roughly 4-5 inches tall atop a weighted metal base, making them the perfect addition to any collectors’ shelf – and can be stored in a stylish collector’s tin decorated with art from the comics!

The first wave in the Deadpool Heavyweights collection features:

  • Deadpool (Classic), the Merc With the Mouth we all know and love (well, we all know him, anyway). Clad in his classic red-and-black costume with twin katanas and a bandolier of useful pouches, this figurine offers a cheery thumbs-up to screaming bystanders and comic book fans alike.
  • Deadpool (French Maid), offering slaughter with a smile in a frilly black-and-white maid outfit! This costume made its debut in Deadpool #20, when the Regenerating Degenerate took on the deadly simian assassin, Hit-Monkey! He also dressed up as a maid. It’s complicated.
  • Deadpool (Groom), dressed to kill, in tux-and-tails and a fancy top hat! Wade’s been married a few times, but this costume is straight from the cover of Deadpool #27, in which Deadpool got hitched to Shiklah, demonic Queen of the Underworld. It was a very romantic affair, honest.
  • Deadpool (Boxers), wearing that most classic of superhero attire – boxers on the outside! This figurine complements its bold fashion choices by offering a confident wave to Wade’s loving fans, or possibly to the voices in his head.

Retailing at $49.95/£39.99 each, this new range is scheduled to launch in November 2021, joining Hero Collector’s existing Marvel Comics Heavyweights. Pre-orders are available now.

Hero Collector announces new Fallout collectibles as part of a wider Bethesda Partnership

Hero Collector, designers of high-quality collectibles from across the worlds of pop culture, announced a new partnership with world-famous video game publisher Bethesda Softworks last year. Now the vault doors are opening to reveal the first of these new initiatives – Fallout figurines, a range of detailed statuettes showcasing famous friends and foes from the Fallout series!

Set in a post-apocalyptic American wasteland, the Fallout series is renowned for its dark humour and retrofuture style. These hand-painted models are a perfect way for fans to celebrate the most iconic characters from the games, each standing roughly 5 inches tall at a 1:16 scale.

The first wave of models in the Fallout 1:16 figurine collection features characters from 2015’s Fallout 4:

  • Sole Survivor, the main character of Fallout 4. When the bombs dropped, the Sole Survivor was sealed in Vault 111, trapped in cryogenic stasis. Woken over 200 years later, the Sole Survivor ventured into the Boston wasteland to search for their son Shaun – who was kidnapped from the frozen Vault by the secretive Institute…
  • Nick Valentine, a private eye with a heart of gold and a brain of silicone! A prototype “synth” with a mysterious past, this robotic detective became a companion of the Sole Survivor in Fallout 4, putting his skills as a geared-up gunslinger and hard-boiled hacker to good use.
  • Protectron, one of the most popular models in RobCo Industries’ range of service robots! These bipedal automatons survived the destruction of civilization, and dutifully carry on with their programmed tasks – even if the years have made some of them a bit… quirky.
  • Feral Ghoul, a human transformed by overexposure to radiation. Immortal mutants with the appearance of rotting corpses, most ghouls are perfectly intelligent – albeit bitter and lonely. Feral ghouls are less fortunate – driven mad by radiation, they stalk the wasteland as terrifying, morbid predators…

Retailing at $24.95/£19.99 each, this new range is scheduled to launch in November 2021, in window packaging perfectly suited to retailer windows and collectors’ shelves.

Fans should stay tuned for further details, including the reveal of more statuettes and figurines based on the world of Fallout – and other Bethesda franchises!

Hero Collector launches a brand new line of Horror figurines for Halloween!

Hero Collector – designers, manufacturers, and publishers of high-quality collectibles – is celebrating the shivers with a new collection of highly detailed statuettes, showcasing some of the most iconic horror creations in cinema!

The new Hero CollectorHorror 1:16 Figurine Collection features hand-painted models sculpted in metallic resin at 1:16 scale – roughly 4-5 inches tall – each recreating a famous film fiend posed atop a display base. These figurines will retail at $24.95/£19.99, in collector-friendly window packaging.

The first wave of this creepy collection will arrive in September 2021, just in time for Halloween, and includes:

  • Pennywise (IT: Chapter Two, 2019): He’ll feast on your flesh as he feeds on your fear! An otherworldly horror who took on countless forms to prey on children in Stephen King’s IT, this particular Pennywise was played by Bill Skarsgård in IT: Chapter One and IT: Chapter Two.
  • Pennywise (IT, 1990): He’s every nightmare you’ve ever had. He’s your worst dream come true! Captured midway through his monstrous transformation, this version of the dancing clown was portrayed with palpable villainy by Tim Curry in the ‘90s adaptation of King’s novel.
  • Annabelle (Annabelle Comes Home, 2019):She’s coming home…Annabelle first appeared in The Conjuring, where the demonically-possessed porcelain doll proved terrifying enough for her own film series. This figurine is perched atop her chair, in the white dress from Annabelle Comes Home.
  • Valak (The Nun, 2018): Pray for forgiveness! An avatar of the goetic demon Valak, this eerie nun was sealed for centuries beneath an abbey, before the bombs of World War 2 released her… The figurine captures the likeness of actress Bonnie Aarons, fully transformed into the ghoulish abbess.
  • The Crooked Man (The Conjuring 2, 2014): There was a Crooked Man, and he walked a crooked mile… A demonic spirit conjured straight from nursery rhyme by a cursed children’s toy, the Crooked Man was played by creature actor Javier Botet, and is shown here cradling his signature umbrella.
  • Stripe (Gremlins, 1984): Mogwai make cute and cuddly pets, but feed one after midnight, and you get a sick and twisted Gremlin! “Stripe” was the ringleader of these animatronic abominations – this figurine depicts him at 1:8 scale, signature tuft and all!

Fans and collectors should stay tuned for further details, including the reveal of more statuettes and other spine-tingling Hero Collector announcements for Halloween!

Hero Collector, designers of high-quality collectibles from across the worlds of pop culture, is setting the stage for an epic clash with its latest collection – Marvel VS, a new series of super statuettes starring the greatest heroes and villains of Marvel Comics!

These richly detailed, hand-painted figurines capture the likenesses of Marvel’s most iconic characters at 1:16 scale – roughly 6-8 inches tall. Each statuette is posed for battle atop a dramatic base of battlefield scenery, ready to take the fight to their greatest rivals – making this the perfect series for pairing off into dueling dioramas.

The first wave in the Marvel VS Collection features:

  • Iron Man, the armored alter ego of billionaire genius Tony Stark! As one of the founding members of the Avengers, Iron Man has defended the world alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
  • Captain America, the star-spangled guardian of freedom! Trapped in the ice of the Arctic circle since World War 2, Steve Rogers awoke to a world that needed his help as a much as ever.
  • Spider-Man, the web-slinging wall-crawler himself! Mild-mannered Peter Parker was gifted with amazing powers by a radioactive spider bite, pitting him against such supervillains as the cackling Green Goblin.
  • Green Goblin, the most infamous villain to plague Peter Parker in both his identities. Cruel corporate executive Norman Osborne has kidnapped Spider-Man’s girlfriend, framed him for murder, and even taken over SHIELD!
  • Thor, the prince of Asgard and God of Thunder! Sent to Earth by his father, Odin, Thor wields his magic hammer Mjolnir in battles against ice giants, aliens, and his mischievous brother, Loki.
  • Loki, the God of Mischief! Loki’s jealousy of his brother Thor has fueled countless villainous plots. Yet the Lord of Lies has also served Asgard as a friend, an advisor, and even a secret agent!

Retailing at $39.95/£34.99 each, this new line is set to hit stores in September 2021. It represents part of Hero Collector’s concerted push into retail, with new products, new packaging and new concepts designed to reach a larger mainstream audience.

Hero Collector unveils a new Build The Enterprise-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation!

Hero Collector – designers, manufacturers, and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the worlds of pop culture – are ready to launch Star Trek fans on a new voyage with the Build the U.S.S. Enterprise-D subscription program!

Whether you’re a collector, model-maker, hobbyist, or simply a Star Trek fan, you’ll soon be able to construct your own Enterprise-D right at home. Subscribers will receive regular deliveries of parts and simple instructions, but there’s no need for glue or paint (or a degree in starship engineering) – every component of this easy-to-build starship model comes pre-painted, and will simply click or screw together to form your own Enterprise-D, ready to be displayed on its model stand.

At over two feet long, the complete model is an exacting replica of the iconic starship from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The legendary Dan Curry, VFX producer on The Next Generation, as well as Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise, says that this “beautiful model” was “such good quality that we could have used it for some of the shots we created for The Next Generation. Nowadays visual effects are mostly done with CG. This reminds me of the incredible models we used to work with for traditional effects, which were built by master craftsmen.”

Based on a careful study of the different studio models used in filming, the model replicates every last detail of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D, from its phaser strips and RCS thrusters to the Captain’s yacht, including:

  • Expert color-matching to the starship’s on-screen appearance
  • Decals to capture the tiniest details of each component
  • Saucer and stardrive sections that can be cleanly separated for display, just as seen on screen
  • Working internal lights that match the original studio model, illuminating the ship’s windows, engines, navigation lights, and main deflector
  • Separate power sources for the stardrive and saucer sections, to keep both lit

Every issue in this subscription comes with simple instructions, labelled and color-coded for ease of assembly – and is also packed with extra features for Star Trek fans. With each delivery, you’ll build a collector’s guide of behind the scenes information, insightful interviews, and astounding art from the people who made TNG, starting with how Andy Probert designed the Enterprise-D itself!

Hero Collector blasts Into retail with the announcement of NEW Marvel Heavyweights Wave 2 figurines

After a successful reveal at New York Toy Fair earlier this year, Hero Collector – designers, manufacturers, and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the worlds of pop culture – is proud to announce Wave 2 of their Heavyweights collection featuring the world-famous Super Heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), captured in full cast metal!

These hand-painted figurines will be the second wave of the Hero Collector Heavyweights range, and faithfully reproduce the likenesses of the MCU’s most beloved costumed characters at 1:18 scale (approximately 4-5 inches tall) atop a metal base. Each figurine comes in a stylish collector’s tin, emblazoned with the character’s logo and movie of origin.

With the first wave scheduled to hit retail in September, this second wave will follow in Q1 2021, and feature characters including:

  • Ant Man, the smallest hero around! Scott Lang, ex-con and single father, was hand-picked by genius scientist Hank Pym to keep his awesome technology out of HYDRA’s clutches. The figurine is clad in his iconic shrinking suit from Ant Man, complete with his insect-like helmet.
  • Captain Marvel, the mightiest Avenger of all! Gifted with incredible cosmic powers by alien technology, Carol Danvers spent years as an amnesiac Kree warrior – only to reclaim her past on Earth. The figurine is cracking her knuckles after the battles she faced in Captain Marvel.
  • Star-Lord, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy! Abducted from Earth as a child, Peter Quill has roamed the galaxy ever since as a legendary outlaw… at least, that’s what he says. The figurine poses with the guns he used to fight Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
  • War Machine, the armor-plated patriot! Frustrated by Tony’s irresponsible antics in Iron Man 2, Colonel James Rhodes stole and modified an Iron Man suit to become an armored Avenger in his own right. The figurine is wading into battle with all guns blazing – and that’s a lot of guns…

This is all part of Hero Collector’s concerted push into retail with new products, new packaging, and new concepts, designed to reach a larger mainstream audience. The Hero Collector Heavyweights will be available from September 2020 at Hot Topic, comic shops, and specialty retail, and direct from the Eaglemoss shop online.

SDCC 2020: Hero Collector announces brand new ships from The Orville

Hero Collector have announced that their line of collectible starships from The Orville are now available to pre-order!

These die-cast miniatures perfectly capture the ships of the show in exacting detail, each accompanied by a magazine filled with concept art, interviews, and behind-the-scenes details for Seth MacFarlane’s live-action, science fiction TV hit.

First announced during The Orville panel at last year’s San-Diego Comic Con, these high-quality collectible starships measure approximately 5 inches in length, with a special XL version of the USS Orville that comes in at over 10 inches.

  • USS Orville (ECV-197), the eponymous vessel of The Orville! This Exploratory-class vessel was designed for long voyages into uncharted space, carrying nearly 300 crew members and their families.
  • Union Shuttle (ECV-197-1), the sleek shuttlecraft used by the USS Orville’s crew to ferry themselves to other ships and the surfaces of alien planets.

Of course, The Orville is packed with numerous spacefarers from outside of the Planetary Union – from the militarized Moclans to the synthetic Kaylon or fanatical Krill – and after the overwhelming response to this first wave, Hero Collector can confirm that more ships will be joining The Orville Starship Collection in 2021!
