Suit Up: The Gatchaman Universe Expands in Explosive Solo Missions!

Building on the momentum of GatchamanMad Cave Studios and Tatsunoko Production present Gatchaman: The Solo Adventures Vol. 1, collecting the high-stakes and shockingly emotional tales of The Eagle, The Swan, and The Owl as originally seen in the Gatchaman comic book one-shots, Ken: Deathmatch, Jun: Apex Heart, and Ryu: Scavengers.

Stories are written by Tommy Lee Edwards and Steve Orlando, with artwork by Mindy LeeNuno Plati, and Riccardo Robaldo—marking Robaldo’s debut as a comic book illustrator.

Three exciting, self-contained stories that further explore these classic heroes and expand upon the continuity of Mad Cave’s ongoing Gatchaman series!

Ken goes undercover to infiltrate an underground gambling ring where martial artists from around the globe fight to the death. There, the winners are captured and brought to a secret Galactor recruiting base. If they refuse to join, the captives are dropped in the jungle and hunted as prey for Galactor’s training program. Can anyone make it out alive?

Meanwhile, an elite squad of motorcycle-riding death bikers has successfully hijacked an armored train transporting experimental International Science Organization tech. These thieves are fast and ruthless–they carry out their orders with razor-sharp efficiency. The only thing in their way is Jun the Swan and her G-3 hover-cycle mecha.

Lastly, Ryu finds himself on a high-seas oceanic adventure to defend his harbor and its citizens from an attacking group of scavenging pirates!

ComicsPro 2024: Mad Cave announces an entire publishing line for Gatchaman!

It’s Mad Cave Studios 10-year anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than to announce their 2024 Gatchaman publishing program at ComicsPro!

The Gatchaman license, originally acquired in 2023 from Tatsunoko Productions, will feature an exciting new rollout of content featuring an ongoing series with a subsequent Vol. 1 trade release, individual character one-shots, and a Galactor miniseries! These new Gatchaman titles will expand upon the original Science Ninja Team Gatchaman continuity, with each project honing its own unique focus while contributing to the overall publishing line.
