Solo Fallout RPG: Wasteland Wanderer is Now Available for Pre-order

Modiphius Entertainment has launched the pre-order for the anticipated solo edition of Fallout The Roleplaying Game: Wasteland Wanderer.

Based on Bethesda’s hugely successful Fallout series, Wasteland Wanderer allows players to record their adventures and play an RPG in the wasteland without the need for a group or gamemaster.

Wasteland Wanderer is based on Modiphius’ 2d20 system and procedurally generates the story for players. It allows them to explore the wasteland as their character emerges from a Vault-Tec vault, immersing them in the post-atomic United States.

To play Wasteland Wanderer, players go through rounds involving four stages: Travel, Encounter, Action, and Journaling, where they roll d20s to generate where they go, what happens there, decide what they do, all using tables to procedurally generate the story as they go.

Available for £40 / $55 / €45, Fallout The Roleplaying Game: Wasteland Wanderer is expected to ship in April 2026.

With this 256-page, full-color, royal-sized hardcover guide players can:

  • Create an original vault dweller to roleplay, as well as their original vault.
  • Explore a randomly-generated wasteland and record your story as you travel the surface.
  • Learn about the Fallout setting and its factions from coast to coast.
  • Generate quests, scenarios, opponents, and obstacles from a huge variety of random oracle tables.

Modiphius Expands its Support for 3D Printing with New Print at Home Terrain for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare

Modiphius Entertainment is expanding its support for at-home 3D printing and has made available several new Fallout: Wasteland Warfare terrain models via their online storefront. Each product is available as a digital STL file, suitable for printing on most consumer and professional 3D resin printers. Modiphius is one of the few tabletop gaming companies that offer significant support for print-at-home, and is the only publisher doing it for licensed games such as Fallout. The latest model release consists of:

  • Bottle and Cappy: No trip to Nuka World would be complete without a photo with these two beloved mascots! Grab these STLs, which allow you to print nine versions of this dynamic fizzy duo! $15.99 USD
  • Pick ‘R Up Truck: This adaptable little vehicle found uses as a workhorse in pre-war America. From mechanic’s pickup truck to delivery driver’s run around, the flatbed and two-person capacity made it a mainstay of hardworking tradesfolk. $10 USD
  • Boston Bus: Scattered throughout Boston, from the soaring flyovers to the school districts, and even rusting in the parking lots of Nuka World, the towering remains of buses provide risk and reward. Industrious wastelanders may even salvage their remains to make impromptu shelters or more permanent features within their settlements. $31 USD
  • Nuka World Parking Lot: This set of STLs allows you to print the key elements you will need to represent the various parking lots that surround the six zones in the Nuka World park, including a damaged (or preserved!) bus, a bus shelter, trash bins, and a Pick ‘R Up truck! $62 USD

Modiphius has announced some special treats for Fallout fans with all three AI Card Decks launching in PDF, plus two brand new STL files for those who are printing their own Fallout: Wasteland Warfare Vault.
The three AI Card Decks feature Wave 1: Survivors, Super Mutants and Brotherhood of Steel, Wave 2’s Raiders and Wave 3’s institute releases, allowing you to play against the AI in solo games and incorporate these awesome releases if you weren’t able to pick them up yet. All are available as part of the Fallout Collection on Modiphius.net and DriveThruRPG.com. Both sites also feature a special bundle containing all three releases.
For 3D print fans we also have the brand new Vault Interior Themed Dressing/Scatter and the Vault Flooring Pack which contain a host of 3D printed files to fill your Fallout Vault with even more detail and authenticity – or alternatively just build it from floor tiles!

All PDF AI card decks require the Fallout Campaign Book which is included in the Fallout: Wasteland Warfare two player starter set and which is also available as a standalone PDF for purchase here. Your download will also include a copy of the free AI Handbook which gives more advice for using AI in games.
