Kicking off 2026, Games Workshop revealed new Battleforce boxes for Warhammer 40,000 and the various Chaos gods. They’re all a great way to start a new force or expand your current one and will be released in early 2026.

Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: The Death Guard and World Eaters arrive to sow chaos plus more Emperor’s Children!

Chaos descends on Warhammer 40,000 as three forces receive releases for 40K. Death Guard and World Eaters each get their Codex release and more and the Emperor’s Children get their Combat Patrol. Check out what you’ll be able to get on pre-order starting next week.

Codex: Death Guard arrives bringing the plague ridden disease vectors to the tabletop. The 128-page Codex which is positively sodden with Nurgle’s munificent gifts. Within these mildewy pages you’ll find lore on the sons of Mortarion, six Detachments, and pages of miniatures photography, Combat Patrol and Crusade rules, as well as Datasheets for all your units. The Collector’s Edition, features unique cover art, sickly green foil page edges and a black ribbon bookmark. This is only available from Warhammer.com while stocks last.

True paragons of pestilence can even opt for the luxury Limited Edition Codex. This package includes its own unique cover art, a series of five art prints, a double-sided metal medallion fragment designed to be united with three other pieces from the other Chaos Gods, six double-sided metal objective markers, a pack of 39 Stratagem cards, and 42 Datasheet cards, all contained in a special two-part slipcase. It is available from Warhammer.com while stocks last.

You can start your force or expand it with the Poxwrought Vector Battleforce. It comes with a Lord of Poxes, seven Plague Marines, five Blight Lord Terminators, and three daemon engines in support – a Foetid Bloat-Drone, Myphitic Blight-Hauler, and Plagueburst Crawler. This Battleforce is the first place to acquire the new Lord of Poxes, and the battleforce will be available while stocks last.

You can also build your force with the Combat Patrol: Death Guard. It features a Lord of Virulence, a Tallyman, three tenacious Deathshroud Terminators, seven Plague Marines and a Chaos Rhino.

Of course you can show your loyalty and keep organized with the Death Guard Dice and Datasheet Card. The cards feature 44 quick reference cards which cover your primary Army Rule, Datasheets and Combat Patrol rules, and let what is inevitable happen with a roll of the conducting in Death Guard style with a set of 16 dice cast in pearlised purple, with green ink and the Death Guard faction icon on the six face.

Of skulls for the skull throne is more your thing, there’s Codex: World Eaters. It features 112 pages that traces the bloody history of Khorne’s Legion, five detachments, Combat Patrol and Crusade rules, and of course datasheets. The Gorestorm Slaughterpack Battleforce is one way to start your force. It features a Slaughterbound, nine Eightbound (who can also be built as Exalted Eightbound), supported by a pack twenty Jakhals. There’s also the Combat Patrol: World Eaters which is led by a Daemon Prince and features a Master of Executions, 10 Khorne Berzerkers, and 10 Jakhals. It also contains two World Eaters transfer sheets, featuring 200 transfers each.

Khorne will show its blessing upon you with the World Eaters Dice and Datasheet Cards. The card pack features 35 quick reference cards cover your primary Army Rule, Datasheets, and Combat Patrol rules. For those still looking to build their Emperor’s Children force, there’s the Combat Patrol: Emperor’s Children. It features a Lord Exultant, two trios of Flawless Blades, and 10 Infractors. This complete Combat Patrol can be used as it is, or as reinforcements for your Warhammer 40,000 army, as the Infractors can also be built as Tormentors. It also contains an Emperor’s Children transfer sheet featuring 150 transfers.

From Black Library comes Legends of the Wolf: The Omnibus by Chris Wraight. The Space Wolves are moulded by the harsh environments of Fenris, feral warrior-kings who combine bravery and ferocity. Fulgrim, Daemon Primarch of Slaanesh is a twisted creature who embodies the Emperor’s Children. After untold years in the Warp, he is now a serpentine monstrosity that stalks battlefields looking for enough of a challenge to entertain him if only for a moment. He is suffused with a beguiling aura, and equipped with daemonic poisons that can bring the mightiest foes to ruin. It comes with a choice of four bare heads displaying different expressions, and a helmeted head.

Lucius the Eternal might be the greatest duelist in the galaxy. This classic character gets a new miniature to challenge his opponents on the tabletop battlefield.

Lord Kakophanist features a Doom Siren grafted to his body. He leads Noise Marines in the orchestra of destruction and slaughter. This miniature comes with two head options, and a choice of screamer pistol and power sword, or two screamer pistols wielded gunslinger-style.

Lord Exultant comes with three right arm options: power fist, plasma pistol or rupture lash, and three left arm options: phoenix power spear, power sword or screamer pistol, plus a choice of bare head or helmet.

Flawless Blades are driven by martial perfection and elite warriors armed with blissblades. This kit builds three Flawless Blades, with a choice of paired blissblades or a mix of regular and hand-and-a-half blades, as well as nine interchangeable heads. Noise Marines are here to rock with sonic blasters and blastmasters. This kit builds six Noise Marines and is packed with options. One can be built as a Disharmonist champion armed with a screamer pistol and power sword, while two of every six can be built with blastmasters. Fulgrim – The Perfect Son by Jude Reid gets a special edition. Nothing less than perfection is acceptable for the Daemon Primarch of Slaanesh, and he expects his progeny to follow suit. His plan to conquer the Imperial World of Crucible is presented to the Emperor’s Children as a challenge, but what should be a swift and decisive victory turns into a gruelling siege where victory is far from guaranteed. Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: The Emperor’s Children and Aeldari get a Combat Patrol

The much anticipated Emperor’s Children for Warhammer 40K are next week’s pre-order focus from Games Workshop with the release of their army set.

The Emperor’s Children Army Set: Champions of Slaanesh has what you need to start your dramatic army. It features 33 new miniatures, the new Codex, datasheets, and transfer sheet.

The Lord Exultant features multiple weapon options like the phoenix spear and rapture lash, and four different power packs, and two head options. Also in the box is two units of six Noise Marines, which can include one Disharmonist each, with multiple head, shoulder, and muzzle options. It also has 20 Space Marines which can be built as Tormentors for ranged attacks or Infractors for close combat.

Also in the box is the 112-page Codex: Emperor’s Children featuring lore, art, and rules. This version has pink foil on the cover and page edges, a black ribbon page marker, and features classic Emperor’s Children art on the cover.

Finally, there’s 22 datasheet cards covering all the units in the Codex but not Combat Patrol datasheets or Army Rules, as well as a transfer sheet with 150 transfers.
