Hachette Boardgames USA has announced that they will be releasing Dicey Waters by Amigo this September! Designed by Haim Shafir and illustrated by Jose Pardo, Dicey Waters has players rolling dice to secure the largest pirate hoard!

Challenge both luck and your opponents as you try to score valuable sets of dice. Reroll as many times as you wish, but if you roll three skulls, you walk away empty-handed!

Before a player starts to roll for their turn, they must draw a card from the pirate deck, which affects what scoring is possible on that turn: They might score double for the treasure they collect, or need to roll sabers to fight off other pirates, or receive a free diamond or gold coin, or be able to score treasure even if they collect three skulls.

Once a player reaches 8,000 points, all other players take one final turn, then the player with the most points wins!

For 2-5 players, ages 8+, games take 30 minutes. Dicey Waters is out September 2026 and retails for $14.99.
