Archie Comics has announced that David Gallaher will script a new story for The Mighty Crusaders: The Shield #1 based on Rob Liefeld‘s artwork. The comic’s future was unknown when Liefeld announced through social media that he was no longer a part of the project. The comic goes on sale in comic shops and digital platforms on June 30.
