As Cincinnati Comic Expo 2015 approaches, more details are revealed and confirmed for what will make this year golden for all convention-goers. Brand-new for this year is the Cincinnati Comic Expo 2015 Exclusive variant of the much-anticipated Deadpool vs Thanos #1 book. This marks CCE’s first team-up for an exclusive Marvel book, featuring the artwork of Khoi Pham. Fans can even have their books signed by the artist, who will be present at the convention as a special guest.
Deadpool vs Thanos #1 brings together for the first time two characters who are gaining traction in mainstream comic media, and who are each about to hit the big screen in a very big way. The two characters together is a rather unlikely matchup, what with Deadpool being insane and Thanos being all-powerfully evil. Thanos has been a lurking supervillain in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and is set to make appearances in upcoming Avengers movies, too. Deadpool was featured in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, and will appear in his own film Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) in February 2016. Cincinnati Comic Expo fans can also meet a star from the upcoming Deadpool movie at the convention: actress Morena Baccarin (Copycat in Deadpool) will also be present as a special guest. Deadpool vs. Thanos #1 is sure to be humorous and chaotic as these two characters try to come together for a common goal without pushing each other over the edge (or perhaps “further over the edge” in Deadpool’s case).
Deadpool and Thanos fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of this book—now there is even more reason to get excited. This exclusive variant book is limited to only 3,000 copies and will be available at the convention or by exclusive preorder through RuppsWorld.com’s Cincinnati Comic Expo portal. Expo attendees can then have their books signed by the artist, Khoi Pham, who will be attending the convention as a special guest. Tickets to the 2015 Cincinnati Comic Expo are available now at www.CincinnatiComicExpo.com, where fans can also find all the latest news and updates for the event.
