Holy Figs! Oni Press Celebrates Adventure Time #1 with a Spectacularly Splendiferous Roster of Stunning Cover Artists!

Discovery Global Consumer Products, share a first look at the mathematical covers for Adventure Time #1 – the FIRST ISSUE of an exciting new monthly series debuting in April 2025! Featuring a rotating cast of cutting-edge creative talents including acclaimed cartoonist and animator Nick Winn, 2024 Eisner Award winner Caroline Cash, Asia Simone, Jorge Monlongo, Brenda Hicke and former Adventure Time writer/storyboard artist and 2024 LA Times Book Prize Finalist Derek Ballard… and even more yet to come – Oni and WBDGCP are proud to kick off a fantastic new era of epic comic book adventure for Finn, Jake, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, and the cast of literally thousands that call Ooo home!

Gracing the shelf covers of issue #1 are totally algebraic artists Nick Winn, who is writing and drawing the first story arc “BEST OF BUDS”; David Nakayama (also available in a gold foil variant and as a striking black-and-white variant); Trung Le Nguyen (also available as a silver foil variant); and Eisner Award winner Tillie Walden. Adventure Time #1 will also feature variants from Eisner Award winner Caroline Cash and Eisner Award winner Erica Henderson!

This slew of radical covers is topped off with not one, but two sketch covers! These won’t be your dad’s sketch covers though, no sir! In addition to a standard white sketch cover, the new Adventure Time series will feature a new series of pantone color sketch covers! Each color to reflect one of the rotating cast of characters who will be populating the Land of Ooo over the first year of the title, beginning with the “Finn Blue” Sketch Variant on issue #1!
