Really, the buzz and controversy is what has me sold enough to check out DC Comics’ Before Watchmen: Minutemen #1.  Who knows how it’ll turn out, but it’ll be what so many people will be talking about.  That alone makes it the pick of the week.

  • Before Watchmen: Minutemen #1 – See above
  • Earth 2 #2 – Did you hear a Green Lantern is gay!?  That happens here.
  • Thief of Thieves #5 – Kirkman and Spencer’s series has been amazing.  One of my favorite of the year so far.
  • Double Jumpers #1 – 8 bit fun, nuff said.  For comic and video game geeks.
  • Prophecy #1 – Dynamite goes the massive event route with many of their hot properties crossing over all in the hands of Ron Marz, event extraordinaire.
