Non-Stop to Premiere at Atlantic City Boardwalk Con as Part of GeekFest

Random Reel Entertainment has announced that their latest feature film Non-Stop to Comic-Con will have its world premiere this Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 pm. The screening, which is part of GeekFest Film Fest, will be shown to attendees at the inaugural Atlantic City Boardwalk Con. Non-Stop to Comic-Con is a film for geeks, by geeks, and is a celebration of geek culture that inspires a positive geek message. The film stars Adam Young, Chris Teregis, Zach Reino, Nicole Erb, Kate Murdoch, Will McLaughlin, Katy Dore, Natalie Neuman, Mindy Robinson, Nina Kate, and Jennifer Irene Gonzalez.

Lewis is a self-admitted geek, and never quite felt like he fit in. Outcast all his life, he and his small circle of friends would prefer socializing online, playing video games, or going to midnight movie screenings than engage in socially deemed “normal” activities. This ragtag bunch of misfits has long dreamt of making the pilgrimage to the pinnacle of all things geek: San Diego Comic-Con. This year they’re finally going to make it happen, but it’s not going to be easy. They are going to face crazy exes, a trigger-happy pilot with PTSD, a cult of anti-geek religious activists, and a whole first class section full of porn stars, all while on a malfunctioning plane that will crash if they don’t overcome their differences and work together to survive.

Bruce Boxleitner Headlines BOOM! Studios’ Presence at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Con

BOOM! Studios is exhibiting at the first-ever Atlantic City Boardwalk Con (ACBC), a new East Coast-based “Comic/Geek/Cosplay convention” that will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the weekend of May 14-17.

Bruce Boxleitner, co-creator of the new Archaia steampunk comic series Lantern City, will be attending ACBC on Saturday, May 16 only and can be found at the Lantern City table #2106 from 10am-12:30pm, at The World of Lantern City panel from 2-3pm, and at the BOOM! Studios booth from 3:30-4:30pm.

BOOM! and its imprints Archaia, KaBOOM!, and BOOM! Box can be found at Booth #724 and will host the following creators all weekend:

James Tynion IV (writer of The Woods, Memetic, and UFOlogy)
Trevor Crafts and Matthew James Daley (creators of Lantern City)
Coleman Engle (artist on the Steven Universe comics)
Travis Hill (artist on Adventure Time short stories)

Engle and Hill are also available to create custom illustrations for fans for $30.00 on blank sketch covers all weekend. Interested attendees can place their order at the booth and return later for pickup.

BOOM! imprint Archaia will host a panel on Lantern City—the first issue launches the same week of ACBC.

The World of LANTERN CITY

Lantern City is an exciting, new steampunk comic series just launched by Archaia and Macrocosm Entertainment, featuring wondrous settings, engaging characters, and of course, some great costumes. Come explore the development of the series and see exclusive behind-the-scenes content with creators Trevor Crafts, Matthew James Daley, and Bruce Boxleitner, and learn what’s new with the development of the proposed television series. Moderated by BOOM! Studios President of Publishing & Marketing Filip Sablik. Attendees will receive a free, Limited Edition Lantern City pin exclusive to Atlantic City Boardwalk Con!

The panel will be followed by a Lantern City signing at 3:30pm of the ACBC exclusive variant (available for purchase for $10.00) by Trevor Crafts, Matthew James Daley, Bruce Boxleitner, and cover artist Conor Nolan (Never Boy). The signing will take place at the BOOM! Studios booth, #724.

Aspen Comics Heads to the East to Atlantic City Boardwalk Con

Aspen Comics will be hitting the East Coast from Thursday, May 14^th to Sunday, May 17^th to exhibit at the first annual Atlantic City Boardwalk Convention. The publisher will be located at Booth #925 on the show floor.

Aspen President Frank Mastromauro, co-owner Peter Steigerwald, artists V Ken Marion and Jordan Gunderson, along with writers Tom Huchison and Heather Finley will be representing the publisher. With them, they’ll have a full array of their diverse comic series and industry-leading prints available for purchase through the weekend.

The publisher will have an Atlantic City Boardwalk Con exclusive cover for The Four Points #2 by Gunderson, with colors by Valentina Pinto, a limited edition of 200. There will also be a full-size print of the variant cover available, alongside an exclusive print of The Four Points #2 Direct Edition Aspen Matthews cover by artist Khary Randolph (Charismagic).

Aspen Comics will be hosting a panel, The Official Aspen Comics Panel 2015, in Room 417 on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00PM. Join the Aspen team of creators to catch sneak peaks of upcoming title releases and products, plus participate in a fan Q&A.

As well, Aspen will be co-hosting an Atlantic City Boardwalk Con after party with Level Up Entertainment at Mountain Bar on Friday, May 15^th at 9PM. Marvel Heads to Atlantic City Boardwalk Con

This spring, Marvel brings its A-game to a truly unique show that puts the fans center stage – the Atlantic City Boardwalk Con.
