The Penguin, Andor, and The Last of Us rack up over a dozen 2025 Emmy Nominations each

The 2025 Emmy Nominations were announced today and it was a good year for “geek” shows with The Penguin, Andor, and The Last of Us each received double digit nominations.

Severance received the most nominations with 27 total nominations. The Penguin had the second most with 24 nominations. The Last of Us received 16 nominations and Andor received 14 nominations.

Also nominated, some with multiple nominations are: Dune: Prophecy, The Boys, Agatha All Along, House Of The Dragon, Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire, The Acolyte, Star Trek: Section 31, The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power, The Umbrella Academy, Doctor Who, Secret Level, What If…?, Invincible, and Arcane.

Hot Toys reveals its Vi Arcane figure

Two sisters are caught on opposite sides of a conflict over arcane technologies as civil unrest mounts between the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun. 

Inspired by Riot Games’ Emmy-winning animated series Arcane, the Vi 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys perfectly captures her appearance in season 2, episode 9 during the last stand against Ambessa and Viktor’s evolved forces.

This detailed figure boasts a hand-painted headsculpt and features Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball design, allowing collectors to create nuanced expressions. Highly poseable with over 28 points of articulation, the figure has silicone-coated arms for a seamless look, a distinctive magenta and black undercut hair sculpt, and a Mechanic tattoo on her upper back.

Vi’s outfit includes a beige tank top, battle-damaged pants with right knee pad and calf armor, plus a pair of red lace-up boots. She comes with detachable arm-guards, wraps, a Piltover Enforcer badge, and of course, the final evolution of her signature Hextech gauntlets, plus smashing and attacking effect accessories.

A notorious Zaunite criminal, the anarchic Jinx brings trouble wherever she goes! Based on her appearance in season 2 of Riot Games’ Emmy-winning animated series Arcane, the Jinx 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys captures this chaotic character’s signature look in exquisite detail. The hand-painted headsculpt comes with two interchangeable face sculpts and utilizes Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball system, allowing for a range of nuanced expressions.

This dynamic figure is highly poseable with over 28 points of articulation and silicone-coated arms for a seamless look. Her distinctive blue hair is sculpted in two braids with embedded wire for additional posing options.
