F.J DeSanto, Federico Dallocchio, Todd Farmer, and Vault Comics’ Failsafe Gets Snagged by Netflix and Michael B. Jordan

Vault Comics is on the move when it comes to their comic properties being turned into films. Netflix has snagged Failsafe from the comic publisher with a script by Joe Robert Cole (who co-wrote Black Panther with Ryan Coogler) and will be produced and star Michael B. Jordan. Alana Mayo will produce through Outlier Society Productions along with Vault Comics’ F.J. Desanto.

The comic series is by writer Desanto as well as written by Todd Farmer with art by Federico Dallocchio, lettering by Travis Lanham, and designs by Jon Adams.

The series focuses on John Ravine, an insurgent hunter who thought the haywire Insurgence Program was over when he executed the last nanotech-enhanced super soldier. Ten years later, in the wake of social unrest, its true legacy is revealed. As sleeper agents scattered throughout the country activate, Ravane must stand between a government he cannot trust and the soldiers he once hunted.

The first issue of the comic series was released in April 2017.
