Creepshow Vol. 2 #2 continues the chills in October. Get your first look!

Skybound has revealed a first look at Creepshow Vol. 2 #2, the latest issue of the hugely anticipated five-issue comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment. Season 4 of the series premieres October 13 on AMC and AMC+.  

Creepshow Vol.2 #2, featuring stories by Michael Walsh, Dan Watters, and Hugo Award-winning illustrator Abigail Larson, will arrive in comic book shops on October 11, 2023.  

Creepshow is back with two more terrifying tales! First, Michael Walsh broadcasts a chilling yarn about a down-on-his-luck dad and his son’s obsession with TV in “The Man With No Eyes”! Then, Dan Watters and Abigail Larson will render you speechless with the story of a young woman burdened and the price she’ll pay for silence in “Stop Haunting Me”! 

In addition to the main cover by Guillem March, Creepshow Vol. 2 #2 comes with a striking lineup of variant covers, including a cover by Michael Walsh, the next release in the set of 1:10 incentive connecting covers by iconic horror artist Skinner, and a The Walking Dead team up variant cover by Rafael Albuquerque, in celebration of the landmark series’ 20th anniversary this October.  

Creepshow Vol. 2 #2 (of 5) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Creepshow Vol.2 returns to comic book shops on October 11, 2023, with terrifying tales by comic superstars Michael Wash, Dan Watters, and Hugo Award-winning illustrator Abigail Larson. 

In the spirit of all iterations of Creepshow in pop culture, every issue of the Creepshow comic series comes packed with two spine-chilling stories. Each issue of the five-part anthology will feature different creative teams from the worlds of comics, books, film, television, and beyond.

Creepshow Volume 2 #1, featuring stories by comic legends Garth Ennis, Becky Cloonan, and Phil Hester, will arrive in comic book shops on September 12, 2023.

A First Look at Jude Ellison S. Doyle and A.L. Kaplan’s MAW #3

BOOM! Studios has revealed a first look at MAW #3, the third issue of a provocative five-issue horror series by award-winning journalist and opinion writer Jude Ellison S. Doyle, artist A.L. Kaplan, colorist Fabiana Mascolo, and letterer Cardinal Rae, that explores the anger of those trapped by society’s expectations and the monsters born from that collective rage, available on November 17, 2021.

Heavy Metal Entertainment, Incendium, and Evanescence Debut ‘Echoes From The Void’

Evanescence, Incendium, and Heavy Metal Entertainment announce the launch of Echoes from the Void, an Evanescence Graphic Anthology Series, under Incendium’s all-new music-focused OPUS imprint.

Echoes from the Void is a fantasy Graphic Anthology Series, comprised of 48-page deluxe comic books, each featuring two or more story adaptations from the Evanescence catalogue. Beginning with story themes based on songs from their upcoming March 26th release The Bitter Truth (BMG), and culminating in revisiting iconic material from throughout the band’s career, the project is comprised of a series of short stories created by an all-star cast of graphic artists, animators, illustrators, fine artists, screenwriters, novelists, and more.

Combining bandleader Amy Lee’s love of visual arts, fantasy-inspired graphics, and graphic novels with the narrative power of Evanescence’s music, the series is being developed in close collaboration with Amy as she oversees the creative direction of the art and stories. Echoes from the Void begins as a 5-issue series, with each issue containing stories based on two or more of Evanescence’s songs, presented in a variety of visual styles and mediums. Issue #1, available in limited-edition, includes two stories inspired by the songs “Better Without You” and “Wasted On You,” from the forthcoming Evanescence album, The Bitter Truth, with tales written by Carrie Lee South and Blake Northcott. The issue will feature illustrations from Hugo Award-winning artist Abigail Larson and highly-esteemed painter Kelly McKernan.

The first print edition of each issue will be released as a prestige format limited-edition collectible comic book, with cardstock covers, specialty foil treatments, glossy pages, and individual numbering. Each first printing will be limited to 3,000 copies priced at $18.95, and available to order. The first issue is available to order now and ships in June 2021.

The art of Echoes from the Void will also be made available to purchase through a series of archival fine art prints, the first of which is illustrated by Kelly McKernan. Incorporating symbols and themes from across the band’s discography into an intricate traditionally painted work that also debuts a mysterious original character, the print features a blue tint glow in the dark base with a luminous pink UV active overlay, as part of an individually numbered 500-piece collection. Kelly’s print is available now.

Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden Introduce Lady Baltimore in 2020

This summer Mike Mignola and bestselling novelist Christopher Golden will reunite for an all-new series, Lady Baltimore.
