NICO MINORU
Nico Minoru was a relatively normal goth teenager until she and several of her childhood friends accidentally witnessed their parents performing a human sacrifice. With the help of the Staff of One, stolen from her own mother, Nico and the other Runaways managed to defeat their parents. They were then forced to quickly mature into full superheroes by the resulting power vacuum in Los Angeles.
KAROLINA DEAN
After leading a somewhat normal teenage life, Karolina Dean and her classmates discovered their parents were part of an evil organization that sacrificed teenagers to gods to create a utopia. After shutting down the organization, the group forged their own bizarre family, doing their best to move forward into the future, even if their past manages to keep up with them wherever they go. Despite the hiccups and constant teen drama, Karolina uses her Majesdanian powers to make the world a better place. As long as she has Nico, her friends, and the sun in the sky, Karolina always finds a way to shine bright!
THE NEXT EIDOL CHASE BEGINS
Kabam introduced a series of brand-new original characters called Eidols throughout the year to MCoC, each central to the game’s new “Founders” storyline that dives into the powerful characters behind the history of The Battlerealm. Artificial lifeform ISOPHYNE arrived first, followed by the assassin LUMATRIX. Known as the Wolf of the Stars, players will now be able to ‘chase’ and collect SOLVARCH during the Fantastic FORCE Saga! The chase for Solvarch kicks off June 4 through October 8.

Ironheart Offers & 7-Day Login Calendar: The Contest is celebrating the upcoming release of Marvel Studios “Ironheart” with a 7-Day “HALL OF IRONS” Login Calendar lined up with daily rewards beginning June 10 through August 1 at 4 p.m. PT, and in-game offers on series premiere day, June 24.

Electronic Arts has cancelled the Black Panther video game that had been announced in 2023 and shutdown the studio behind it, Cliffhanger Games. EA is making other layoffs across other team though specifics are unknown at the time.
The cancellation was announced to employees through an email sent by EA Entertainment and Technology president Laura Miele, according to the report.
The reason given is that Electronic Arts will focus more on other games where they think they have the “most significant growth opportunities.” That means expect more Battlefield, The Sims, Star Wars, Mass Effect, and Apex Legends. Interestingly, EA will continue to work on the Iron Man game that was announced in 2022.
This continues mass layoffs that have hit the video game industry this year. EA laid off between 300 and 400 employees cancelling other projects less than a month ago as just three months after it made significant cuts to BioWare.

New Stories Come to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader with Season Pass 2
Also announced is Season Pass 2 for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, bundling two new expansions and an appearance customization pack. The third major addition to the game will allow players to enter a Necron vault curated by the iconic Trazyn the Infinite, challenge ancient guardians, and uncover relics tied to the Von Valancius legacy. The fourth one will let them explore the Processional of the Damned — a surreal voidship graveyard, in a descent into madness and mystery.
