Batman Gets an Amazon Shop to Celebrate 80 Years

Warner Bros. and Amazon are teaming up for shops dedicated to Batman! You can shop online at Amazon or pop up shops in Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The real-world shops run until September 30.

The shops include new Imaginext Batmam items like the Transforming Batmobile R/C, two new Batman Funko Pop!s, new releases from Lego, Mattel, Fisher-Price, and more.

Once & Future #1 Gets One Last Printing, its Sixth!

BOOM! Studios has announced that Once & Future #1 from New York Times bestselling writer Kieron Gillen, Russ Manning Award-winning artist Dan Mora, and acclaimed colorist Tamra Bonvillain, has sold out of its fifth printing at the distributor level.

Due to the historic levels of demand from retailers and fans alike, BOOM! Studios is making the Once & Future #1 Sixth Printing Variant, featuring an all-new cover for the final printing of the phenomenal series launch by acclaimed series artist Dan Mora, arriving in stores on September 25, 2019. 

Once & Future #1 introduces readers to ex-monster hunter Bridgette McGuire, who must pull her unsuspecting grandson Duncan, into a world of magic and mysticism to defeat a legendary threat when a group of Nationalists use an ancient artifact to bring a villain from Arthurian myth back from the dead. Now Bridgette and Duncan must navigate the complicated history of the McGuire family and combat the deadly secrets of England’s past that threaten its very future.

The first printing of Once & Future #1 arrived on shelves August 14, the second printing on August 28. The third printing will be released September 4, the fourth on September 11, and the fifth arrives on September 18.

Previews Gets an Exclusive Hulkbuster and Master Chief

Diamond Comic Distributors is partnering with Beast Kingdom and 1000toys to bring fans a pair of high-tech heroes. Beast Kingdom’s PREVIEWS Exclusive Egg Attack Action figure features the Hulkbuster, seen in Avengers: Age of UItron, while the PREVIEWS Exclusive figure from 1000toys highlights Halo’s iconic super-solider, Master Chief.

Based on the Mark 44 version of Tony Stark’s Iron Man Suit, the Hulkbuster was created originally for the sole purpose of restraining the Hulk. Following its debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the suit went on to be heavily featured in subsequent Avengers Movies! A modular armor kit sent remotely with the aid of the computer AI Veronica, the suit allows the original Iron Man to bulk up considerably, giving Tony a much-needed boost in pure strength.

HasLab’s Transformers Unicron Campaign is Extended

TRANSFORMERS fans – it’s not over for The Lord of Chaos quite yet!

Hasbro has been reading your comments and listening to your feedback about wanting more time, and they’ve shared that they’re officially extending the campaign date for the Transformers: War for Cybertron Unicron HasLab project through New York Comic Con, ending Sunday, October 6, 2019. The extension will hopefully get this project to the 8,000 backers it needs to meet its goal.

Studios has revealed a first look at the brand new Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance #1 variant cover art by Eisner Award-winning artist and illustrator Christian Ward, featuring the power-hungry and malevolent Skeksis, The Scientist, who first appeared in The Dark Crystal film and will appear in The Jim Henson Company’s new Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Mezco’s One:12 Collective Batman: Supreme Knight is Available for Pre-Order

Every Knight has a beginning… and every Knight comes to an end.
Mezco’s One:12 Collective Batman Trilogy launched in 2017 with the introduction of Ascending Knight. From his bulkier Bat Suit to his leaner build, Ascending Knight was a Batman compelled by vengeance as he just began his war on Crime.

The second release in the trilogy was the Sovereign Knight – a “present day” Batman championing justice. He has honed his skills, methods, and physical fitness to their apex. His Bat-Suit has been upgraded to provide more protection and greater mobility.

The trilogy comes to a close with the Supreme Knight. He’s an older Batman, driven by perseverance. Developed with the concept that Batman has created and been using the mythology of Batman to his advantage for many years we see a wiser, aged but more battle-torn and darker Bruce Wayne. The Supreme Knight embodies the man who was once propelled by vengeance and justice and now empowered by grit and resilience; he still stands indestructible but not impervious to a life’s work of being Gotham’s savior.

The Mezco One:12 Collective Supreme Knight is available for pre-order from Mezco, Entertainment Earth, and others, and expected to ship between February and April 2020. It retails for $85.
