Flight Risk Tops a Tepid Weekend Box Office
Flight Risk was the top film this past weekend with an estimated $12 million. There was no international gross reported. It tops a rather weak weekend box office overall.
Mufasa: The Lion King slipped to second place with $8.7 million domestically to bring its total gross to $221.1 million. Over the week, the movie grossed $23.4 million internationally to bring that total to $405.6 million. After a rough start, the film has gone on to gross $626.7 million worldwide.
One of Them Days came in third place with an estimated $8 million to bring its domestic total to $25.1 million. Internationally, the film has grossed $27,865. Worldwide, the move has grossed a little over $25.1 million.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 held on to fourth place with $5.5 million domestically where it has now grossed $226.1 million. Over the week, the movie grossed $17 million internationally to bring that to $220.5 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $446.6 million.
Rounding out the top five was Moana 2 with $4.3 million to bring its domestic gross to a little over $450 million. Internationally, the movie has grossed $576 million bringing the worldwide total to a little over $1.026 billion.
In comic film news…
Kraven the Hunter grossed just $45,128 after seven weeks. Domestically, the movie has grossed $24.8 million. Internationally, the movie gained a bit, about $400,000, to have grossed $36.5 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed just $61.4 million after five weeks.
The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim held domestically at $9.2 million. Internationally the film gained about $500,000 and is now at $11.3 million. The movie has grossed just $20.5 million.
Venom: The Last Dance remain at $139.8 million domestically. Internationally, it grossed about $150,000 over the week to bring that to $338.8 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $478.5 million.
Solo Leveling: Reawakening remained at $3.4 million domestically. Internationally it remained at just under $3 million for a worldwide total of a little under $6.3 million.
The week’s overall box office success…
Numbers have 55 films earning $64,431,685 from 38,602 theaters. That’s a dip from the previous weekend’s $77,667,737 from 38,991 theaters and 64 films. The average earning was $1,669.13 which is also a decrease from the previous weekend’s $1,991.94.
