Michaela Coel Joins the Cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
While we don’t know who Michaela Coel will be playing, it’s being reported that Coel will join the cast of the much anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film is the sequel to the hit Marvel film Black Panther.
Production began last month at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios.
Michaela Coel received four Emmy nominations for the HBO Max series I May Destroy You. Coel acted in, wrote, executive produced, and directed the series.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s script is by Joe Robert Cole and Ryan Coogler with Coogler directing. The film is highly anticipated not just due to it being a sequel to the hit film Black Panther but also in how the film will deal with the loss of its star and lead Chadwick Boseman.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently scheduled to be released on July 8, 2022.
