The SAG Awards had a hell of an upset for “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture” as Black Panther won beating A Star Is Born, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Crazy Rich Asians. The film also won “Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.” There it beat Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Infinity War, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and Mission: Impossible — Fallout.

The win shakes things up for the Oscars where the film was the first superhero comic film to be nominated for “Best Picture.”

It wasn’t all wins for “comic” shows and films. Marvel’s Daredevil and The Walking Dead lost to Glow in “Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series.”
