A new Jonathan Hickman indie series?  Um, yes please.  There’s a few high profile comics this year, and most have been let downs but Hickman has shown genius in his work and this is a series that’s premise that sounds right up his way.  I’ve checked out the book and definitely was entertained.  The premise is simple, the Manhattan Project was really a front for crazier stuff.  It’s a no-brainer that Manhattan Projects #1 is this week’s pick of the week.

• Fairest #1 – A new spin-off from Fables?  Yes!  I can’t wait for this series.
• Age of Apocalypse #1 – Marvel mines familiar territory, but that territory is so good.
• Supurbia #1 – The concept is a great one, the housewives of super heroes.  So great and can’t wait to read!
• Hell Yeah #1 – It’s the last generation of heroes.  The art and concept look very cool.
