Unmatched: The Witcher is available for pre-order

The Witcher is getting two releases for Restoration Games‘ tabletop game, Unmatched. Unmatched Witcher – Steel & Silver and Unmatched Witcher – Realms Fall. The two expansions that bring the popular world to the tabletop.

Unmatched is a board/miniature game where you use a cards to decide on moves and battle it out against your opponent. The expansions are varied and can be played against each other. The Witcher could be played against Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Marvel characters, a dinosaur, Bruce Lee and more.

You can get the expansions in a bundle for $100 which comes with a special Geralt in the Bathtub Miniature, or get each for $50 with the Geralt bathtub miniature for $15.

There’s competition for The Witcher’s Reward in The Bear and the Butterfly

Dark Horse Comics continues their close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, bringing The Witcher comics to fans based on the hit video game series. The next installment of these iconic Witcher tales will be The Witcher: The Bear and the Butterfly. Written by Simon Spurrier, with main cover and interior art by Stephen Green, colors by José Villarrubia, and letters from Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. The first issue also features a set of variant covers with art by Mattia De Iulis, Aaron Campbell, and iconic pencil artist Tim Von Rueden.

Geralt travels to a remote town where a vampire is rumored to be killing the townspeople. The bounty has amassed all manner of monster hunters—and among them is another witcher, from the school of the Bear, a fierce competitor for the reward.

After a decade in the making, the iconic card game from The Witcher universe is finally coming to tabletops. First introduced in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—a video game that has sold over 50 million copies and ranks among the top 10 games of all time—Gwent quickly captured the hearts of millions. Since then, The Witcher has expanded into a hit Netflix series, while Gwent itself has evolved into standalone digital adaptations, including its own mobile app.

Dark Horse Books and CD PROJEKT RED continue their presentation of Andrzej Sapkowski‘s original short stories from his acclaimed collection, The Last Wish, now in graphic novel format. Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher: The Edge of the World features another story from the collection and more monsters and mystery. A devilish tale full of shocking twists, The Edge of the World is reverently adapted by writer Magdalena Salik, with artist Tommaso Bennato, colorist Chris O’Halloran, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. Like The Witcher: A Grain of Truth and The Witcher: The Lesser Evil before it, The Witcher: The Edge of the World will be presented in a beautiful hardcover volume. Kai Carpenter returns as the cover artist for the third short story adaptation.

Work is hard to come by for Geralt. And for his bardic traveling companion, Dandelion, the doldrum of the road is not a worthy subject for his rhymes or ballads.
