The Question: The Deaths of Vic Sage #1

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in!

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find out what folks think below, and what comics you should be looking out for this Wednesday.

2099 Alpha #1/Fantastic Four 2099 #1 (Marvel) – Spider-Man’s next event that takes us to 2099 celebrating 80 years of Marvel and the popular comic line that’s 80 years from now.

Annihilation Scourge Alpha #1 (Marvel) – It’s the newest “Annihilation” story and it’s one hell of a ride. This is one for those who loved the original events.

Excalibur #2/Marauders #2 (Marvel) – “Dawn of X” continues and there’s potentially some interesting directions each of these series may go.

Heart Attack #1 (Image Comics/Skybound) – It’s superpowers and teenage romance!

Heartbeat #1 (BOOM! Studios) – A new twist on the vampire genre that we’re intrigued to check out.

Killswitch #2 (Action Lab Entertainment) – Some solid science fiction that involves precognatives on the run. The first issue was entertaining and we want to check out more.

Multo (Retrofit Comics) – A collection of autobiographical comics from Retrofit who have consistently released solid indie comics.

Olympia #1 (Image Comics) – An interesting new series that feels like a love letter to comics in general.

Once & Future #4 (BOOM! Studios) – Some great modern fantasy that’s full of action.

The Question: The Deaths of Vic Sage #1 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – Jeff Lemire, Denys Cowan, and Bill Sienkiewicz take on The Question in this new miniseries.
