The Boys Comes to Blu-Ray and DVD in May

Sony has revealed that The Boys is getting a six disc release on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 17. The release includes the first and second season, as well as bonus materials like deleted and extended scenes and blooper reels.

The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes — as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods — abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the superpowerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven” and their formidable Vought backing.

In a more intense Season 2 of The Boys, Butcher, Hughie, and the team reel from their losses in Season 1. On the run from the law, they struggle to fight back against the superheroes. Meanwhile, Vought, the hero management company, cashes in on the panic over supervillains; and a new hero, Stormfront, shakes up the company and challenges an already unstable Homelander.

Uncharted Comes to Digital in April and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD in May

Sony has announced that Uncharted is coming to Digital on April 26th and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD on May 10th.

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is coming soon for you to own. The film will be released digitally on January 18 and on 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD on February 8. The release features three all-new featurettes that take you further into Raccoon City and also coming is a limited edition 4K Steelbook release which includes five collectible poster cards.

Raccoon City, which was once a booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is directed by Johannes Roberts and stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia with Donal Logue and Neal McDonough.

4K Ultra HD™ and Blu-ray™ include over 20 minutes of all-new featurettes, exploring the characters, creatures and creepy locations of Raccoon City as well as the process of adapting the first two games of the massively popular video game franchise for the big screen. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather, an original Ghostbuster, left behind. The film is written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman.

The Mitchells vs. the Machines is coming to digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 14.

An old school father and his plugged-in, filmmaker daughter struggle to relate as their family embarks on a road trip to her new college. Their drive is interrupted by a machine apocalypse that threatens to tear these unlikely heroes apart unless they can find a way to join forces and save humanity.

The Mitchells vs. the Machines is directed by Mike Rianda and co-directed by Jeff Rowe with a story by Rianda and Rowe. It’s produced by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Kurt Albrecht and executive producers include Will Allegra and Louis Koo Tin Lok. The cast features Danny McBride, Abbi Jacobson, Maya Rudolph, Mike Rianda, Eric Andre and Olivia Colman.
