SDCC 2026: White Cat Entertainment Returns

White Cat Entertainment

White Cat Entertainment returns to San Diego Comic-Con International following a year of significant and exciting growth for the creator-led publishing and entertainment company. You can find them at Small Press Booth P-10.

After expanding its comics and graphic novel publishing footprint through a partnership with Massive Publishing and launching a creative solutions division with award-winning writer, producer, and development strategist Rylend Grant, Managing Partner of The Shoshin Creative Lab, White Cat Entertainment arrives at SDCC with creator appearances, convention programming, new releases, and the launch of the Alpha Cat #2 Kickstarter campaign, which has been labeled a “Project We Love”!

Meet the Creators

For the first time, fans will have the opportunity to meet both Chris Mancini and artist Fernando Pinto together at San Diego Comic-Con at Booth P-10. Traveling all the way from Chile, Pinto will be accepting commissions and signing books alongside Mancini throughout the convention. The appearance comes as the longtime creative team celebrates the launch of Alpha Cat #2, now live on Kickstarter.

Why We Make Comics: The Urge, The Obsession, The Necessity
Friday, July 24 | 7:00-8:00 | Grand 10 & 11, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina

Behind every comic is a deeper story… one that goes beyond craft, technique, or industry know-how. Rylend Grant and David Avallone (hosts of the Telly Award-winning WRITERS BLOCK podcast) bring together a panel of acclaimed creators and dig into the real reason they make comics: the personal drives, emotional compulsions, and life experiences that make storytelling not just a career, but a necessity. From catharsis to chaos, therapy to obsession, this candid conversation explores what fuels the creative fire and why, for some, making comics isn’t a choice at all.

SDCC 2026: Street Noise Books spotlights Melissa Chan and You Must Take Part in Revolution

You Must Take Part in Revolution

Activist graphic novel publisher Street Noise Books will spotlight author Melissa Chan at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con

Melissa Chan is the author of You Must Take Part in Revolution (co-created with Badiucao), a graphic novel exploring the onward march of authoritarianism and the power of resistance in China and around the globe. She is an Emmy-nominated Hong Kong and Taiwanese American foreign correspondent based between Los Angeles and Berlin. She was previously posted in China until she became the first journalist in more than a decade to be expelled by the Chinese authorities in 2012. Much of her reporting examines human rights, the rise of global authoritarianism, and the defense of democracies. She has written for The New York Times, where she was nominated for a Loeb Award—business journalism’s highest honor—and The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Time, The Guardian, and more. As a broadcast correspondent, she has reported for VICE News Tonight and Al Jazeera’s Fault Lines

You Must Take Part in Revolution is an essential graphic novel for our time — a much-needed story about the consequences of today’s threats to Democracy, and an inspiration for all of us in building a better future.

SDCC 2026: DC Unveils Booth Lineup, Exclusives, and More

DC has announced its fan activations for Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), centered around its expanded DC Booth #4544 on the convention floor from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26.

In 2026, DC continues its annual decade‑by‑decade celebration of its publishing legacy by spotlighting the 1950s. Following last year’s celebration of DC’s earliest publishing era, the 2026 DC Booth turns its attention to an era of reinvention, experimentation, and imagination that helped shape the future of DC Comics. As DC marches toward its 100th anniversary, this year’s booth honors a transformative decade that introduced bold new heroes, groundbreaking ideas, and creative storytelling that continues to inspire generations of fans.

The 1950s marked a creative turning point for DC. Showcase #4 introduced Barry Allen and helped usher in the Silver Age of comics. Action Comics #252 debuted Supergirl, Action Comics #241 revealed Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, and Showcase #22 reimagined Green Lantern with Hal Jordan. Beyond superheroes, the 1950s saw DC expand into science fiction, mystery, romance, Westerns, humor, and suspense, reflecting a period of extraordinary creative growth and experimentation.

The 2026 DC Booth brings this era to life with art, activations, and experiences inspired by one of the most influential periods in DC history, including a celebration of MAD Magazine, which debuted in 1952 and helped redefine satire for generations. Under the guidance of Harvey Kurtzman and the legendary “Usual Gang of Idiots,” MAD offered readers a sharp, hilarious lens on entertainment, politics, and popular culture, leaving a lasting mark on generations of creators and fans. Fans can visit the booth’s 1950s‑inspired Daily Planet newsstand and pick up a free MAD Magazine #1 facsimile, complete with classic ads pulled from DC’s archives and a Daily Planet blank back cover designed for creator signatures.

SDCC provides the perfect platform for DC to connect with fans, showcase exciting content, and celebrate the power of DC storytelling. Ten years ago, the nation of Singapore sank into the Pacific Ocean. The underground terrorist network known as The Seven Seals took credit for the largest act of terror in human history. In the aftermath, the United Nations created a strike team of highly trained covert operatives with one mission: locate, identify, and eliminate The Seven Seals’ secretive leader. The team’s clandestine affairs were to always remain in the shadows – until their final, explosive confrontation with The Seven Seals resulted in a large-scale tragedy too bloody to cover up and too tragic to ignore.

Disgraced and disavowed by the governments that trained them, the world’s most dangerous secret agents have been convicted for their crimes and sentenced to serve time side-by-side in the one place capable of holding them: their old island headquarters, Fort Cyclone – now known in the media by the derogatory nickname “Fort Psycho.” And that’s where the official story is about to go terribly, terribly wrong.

Don’t miss Fort Pyscho #1! You’ve been warned.

* Are you the kind of guy or gal who plans ahead? Then you surely ordered the Fort Pyscho #1-12 PRE-ORDER BONUS BUNDLE … which means you’ll be receiving Fort Pyscho #0, which will also include a reprint of “SARDINES” alongside two other short stories by Kindt & Hurtt. Congrats on being ahead of the game, soldier!
