ARCHIE DOUBLE DIGEST #224

Archie in The Big Ditch – Jughead has a science project due in a week but it’s not going to get done if his lab partner (and supposed best friend!) doesn’t stop ditching him. Will Archie stop putting off his his pal or will Jug end up with a failing grade thanks to his flaky friend?

In additon, Mr. and Mrs. Andrews are “Going Batty” when they discover a loose bat in the attic! Mr. Andrews decides to take matters into his own hands but he qualified to handle the flying rodent?

Those stories plus Archie in “Kiss Amiss!” in which Arch spreads holiday cheer throughout the halls of Riverdale High with his strategically placed mistletoe but not if the Bee has anything to say about it! Will Archie be the first to serve detention for puckering up?

Betty and Veronica in “This Looks Like a Job For a Sugarplum!” – Christmas is fast approaching and as Betty and Veronica prepare for the merry occasion they are paid an unexpected visit from Sugarplum the fairy. Upset at having been recently fired by Santa himself, the girls attempt to help Sugarplum get back on her feet with a new job. However, her innate spirit of giving doesn’t exactly help matters!

The story continues in “For the Love of Archie” after the unemployed fairy decides to model herself after Veronica and begin a career in shopping! Things get heated when Sugarplum’s newfound desire to be like Veronica piques her interest in Archie.

In “Hello Dolly”, Sugarplum sees an opportunity to help out a poor family for Christmas but accidentally end up on the opposite end of the gift giving, literally!

Our story concludes with “It’s My Party and I’ll Fly if I Want To!” in which Sugarplum helps the girls pull off their Christmas party where a jolly visitor not on the guest list just might stop by!
