As each year wraps up, people begin to pour over the year that was and put together “best of” lists. Out of respect for all creators, we wait until January 1 to release our list. In the lead up though, we keep track of the horse race that is the “best of” list.

Each year we put together a list of the numerous best of lists, as well as tally the comics, graphic novels, trade paperbacks, webcomics, and more that make each list.
