Lead investigations, uncover grand conspiracies, master tactical combat, and wage a secret war against heresy. Make tough choices as a conduit of the God-Emperor’s will.

Games Workshop 2026 New Year Preview: Prepare for Huron Blackheart’s Red Corsairs!

After a bit of a teaser at the end of 2025, Games Workshop has revealed not just Huron Blackheart but an army’s worth of releases for his Red Corsairs.

Huron Blackheart and the Masters of the Maelstrom is Huron’s inner circle made up of old comrades and new luminaries. Three hail from the dark days of the Badab War: Garreon the Corpsemaster, Lord-Apothecary and former Astral Claw; Katar Garrix, cold-hearted headsman formerly of the Executioners; and Garlon Souleater, a master manipulator and deadly sorcerer once under the banner of the Mantis Warriors. Captain Sargotta is the finest shipmaster in the Red Corsairs fleet and the chief architect of their many naval victories. The Tarellian bounty hunter known only as The Enforcer – as few care to learn or pronounce her true name – doggedly hunts down those cowards who fail the Master of the Red Corsairs and choose flight rather than their deserved death.

The forces of the Red Corsair are getting brand new models that will be first released in their own battleforce box. The set features a unit of 10 Red Corsair Raiders, Reave-Captain, 10 Legionaries, 5 Terminators, and 10 Traitor Guardsmen as well as the new pack of Red Corsairs upgrades and transfers.

Red Corsair Raiders are a new plastic kit that represents Space Marines that have turned away from the Imperium to aid the Dark Gods of Chaos. There’s a mix of wargear with Imperial armor and weapons both old and new. They’re the tip of the spear crashing into the enemy lines with blades and bolt shells.

The Reave-Captain leads these forces and often become notorious corsair captains.

Rules for running your army as a thematic Red Corsairs raiding fleet will be found in The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant.
