Helstrom is a television series based on Marvel comics that’s generally flying under the radar. The horror series will debut on Hulu who has released the synopses for the first five episodes which you can read below.

The series got its first trailer during this year’s virtual San Diego Comic-Con after a virtual silence and unknown future. It was announced with numerous other Marvel based series for Hulu, most of which are not happening. Announced in 2019, it was to debut with Ghost Rider this year, the latter show isn’t happening. Even more precarious is the lack of “Marvel” branding for the show.

As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon), and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity — each with their own attitude and skills.

Episode 1: Mother’s Little Helpers

Daimon Helstrom investigates a possessed young boy in Oregon. Meanwhile in San Francisco, Ana Helstrom stages an auction to expose a criminal. Disturbing events at St. Teresa’s cause concern as the siblings estranged Mother remains hospitalized.

Episode 2: Viaticum

Episode 3: The One Who Got Away

Episode 4: Containment
