Kabam is continuing their celebrations this March on its popular mobile fighter Marvel Contest of Champions with International Women’s Day and powerful female Champions, the upcoming season two release of the Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again,” new player giveaways, and much more. CELEBRATE POWERFUL SUPER WOMEN IN THE CONTEST

The Contest is celebrating International Women’s Day and the super women who lead the fight–warriors, leaders, innovators, and legends. This month, MCoC is welcoming the charming mutant PIXIE and the Queen of the hellish Limbo MADELYNE PRYOR! Players will have the opportunity to obtain Pixie on March 12, while Madelyne Pryor can be obtained on March 26.

With over 300 Champions in The Contest, players can also add other classic Marvel Super Heroes and villains such as Jubilee, Rogue, Morningstar, Proxima Midnight, and more.

PIXIE

Megan Gwynn’s powers allow her to share charming Pixie-Dust hallucinations such as pink

unicorns and rainbows. Despite her sparkling personality, Megan has access to dark magic via

her powerful soul dagger, making her a strong contender in the Contest!

MADELYNE PRYOR

Madelyne Pryor is the current ruler of the hellish dimension known as Limbo and the Goblin

Queen. After experiencing trauma in her turbulent past, Madelyne takes no prisoners with her

powerful scythe and summoning abilities.

➔     EVENT QUEST: Manic Pixie Dream Goblin [March 4-April 1]: Pixie will arrive just in time to help clear up a mystical mess! The Sorcerer Supreme, a student of a time-displaced Dr. Strange, has recruited Pixie and pals to help sort out some malevolent magic and lurking invaders from Limbo. Players will need to fight friend and foe alike, battling back the minions and menace of the mighty monarch Madelyne Pryor. The Manic Pixie Dream Goblin event quest will be available until April  8, 10 AM PT.

WOMEN OF POWER NEW PLAYER BUNDLE GIVEAWAY

The next exclusive bundle for *new players is loading, complete with powerful Champions and the resources you’ll need to unleash their full potential. The Women of Power New Player Bundle will showcase some of the women who shaped the Marvel Universe and players will have the opportunity to add these epic Champions to their roster starting March 7 at 4PM PT.

*First time players are eligible to access the New Player Bundle Giveaways and must create a new account between March 7 – April 7, 2026 @ 4PM PT. New players must complete the in-game tutorial and reach level 5 to unlock the Mail Message function where the giveaway awaits. 

DAREDEVIL EXCLUSIVE OFFERS

Fans of the highly anticipated season two of the Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again” premiering on March 24, can also look forward to dawning the mask and seeking out justice in The Battlerealm! For two weeks, beginning March 24, players will have the opportunity to claim a free profile pic of Jessica Jones and Daredevil, a Daredevil (Hell’s Kitchen) Champion Selector, and a Kingpin Champion Selector.

➔     Champion Rework: Illyana Rasputina, aka Magik, is a powerful Power Control champion thanks to her Special 2, allowing her to handle Power Gain abilities and Nodes. Kabam has rebalanced and reworked Magik with fresh mechanics. The character update will be released March 2.

➔     Women of Power Solo Event [March 11-April 8]: The female developers behind MCoC have specially picked out their favorite Champion profile pics and players will have the opportunity to claim these unique rewards and more through special quests, including Gwenpool’s Gal-Pal Guidebook.

➔     Gwenpool’s Gal-Pal Guidebook [March 11-April 8]: To celebrate International Women’s Day, Gwenpool wants to REALLY show off what some of the mighty women of the Contest are capable of! Players will be granted a free low-rarity Champion and use them exclusively for a series of 3 fights. In the final week, players must use a team of those free Champs to complete a larger map. ➔     7-Star Ascension: For players looking to grow their roster further, Ascension will become a new permanent feature beginning March 5. Ascension lets players power-up specific 7-Star Champions beyond their current power level, up to 11 ranks, by utilizing resources such as Ascension Tokens and Primordial Dust with newly added tiers.

◆      Players will get increased Attack, Health, and Challenge Ratings for their Champion every Ascension.

◆      Players will also earn a new Mechanic called “Might.” A new mechanic that every Champion will have will continuously fill up as you battle your opponent, releasing a burst of energy that deals more damage for every attack.

CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH IN THE CONTEST

The Contest of Champions is a home to a diverse gathering of Super Heroes from every possible background and origin. This month MCoC is welcoming the formidable leader of the Jabari Tribe M’BAKU along with war veteran, all-star football player, and living anti-matter containment unit BLUE MARVEL! Players will have the opportunity to obtain M’Baku on Feb. 12, while Blue Marvel can be obtained on Feb. 26.

With over 300 Champions in The Contest, players can also add other classic Marvel Super Heroes and villains such as Captain America (Sam Wilson), Jabari Panther, Killmonger, Patriot, Photon, Prowler, and more.

M’BAKU

The charismatic and formidable leader of the Jabari Tribe, is one of Wakanda’s most powerful warriors and a frequent rival of T’Challa. He is a traditionalist, a worshipper of the White Gorilla,

Ghekre, living with his tribe in the isolated mountains away from the rest of Wakanda due to

ideological differences. He and his tribe reject the technological progress embraced by T’Challa’s

leadership. Though often seen challenging T’Challa’s rule, ultimately his motivations stem from a

deep belief in maintaining Wakanda’s ancient traditions.

BLUE MARVEL

Adam Brashear had always been a prodigy—a college football star with multiple Ph.D.s who earned two Silver Stars serving as a Marine in the Korean War. While leading Project: Perseus, an attempt to harness the power of antimatter, Adam and his fellow Marine Conner Sims were caught in a reactor explosion. Conner was vaporized, but the reaction stabilized within Adam’s body, granting him the amazing powers of the Blue Marvel. When his identity as a Black man was revealed in a titanic battle alongside the Avengers, Adam was asked by the President to retire, as the country was not ready for the most powerful man in America to be openly and unapologetically Black during the 1960’s. For decades, he obliged, but after losing much of his family in another accident, he has since returned to stand against the ever present threats of the modern world.

ALL NEW FORMAT FOR ALLIANCE QUESTS

Marvel Contest of Champions is rolling out a new format for Alliance Quests with “Meta Weeks.” Meta Weeks are a brand-new, optional event type that will be part of the four-week Alliance Quest cycle. 

The format will run over the course of a full week and the event is all about celebrating and rewarding Champions who get stronger over time by making challenging encounters more trivial as you progress. Dive in and check out the new format now!

➔     The sixth annual Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote has concluded and with 56% of the votes, the fans have chosen COLOSSUS (AGE OF APOCALYPSE) as the next Champion to join The Contest! The winner was announced Jan. 30 during MCoC’s livestream and will be introduced to the game this October. More details on the Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote can be found online HERE.

➔     One of the greatest warriors of Asgard, Heimdall was appointed Guardian of the Rainbow Bridge for all time, by Odin All-Father. Kabam has rebalanced and reworked Heimdall with fresh mechanics.

➔     MCoC introduced all-new Dimensional Arcade, rhythm-fighting mode The Concert of Champions where players will be challenged to groove on, rock out, and battle it out to the beat! This brand new mode features music-inspired stages, original tracks, and players can choose from a selection of more musically-inclined Champions…DAZZLER, STAR-LORD, SPIDER-PUNK, and GUILLOTINE (DEATHLESS). Players can check out this limited-time game mode now through Feb. 23.

Kabam is celebrating 11 years of Marvel Contest of Champions with the debut of an all-new “11TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY” trailer voiced by media executive, writer, producer, comedian, and actor Sam Reich, teasing new Champion J. The celebration doesn’t end there. Players will be gifted 2025 Summoners Choice Champion MR. KNIGHT, receive a unique player title based on how many years spent in The Battlerealm, and treated to a 7-day Anniversary supply drop calendar offering daily rewards beginning Dec. 11 through Dec. 18.

MCoC’s Banquet Event returns and no matter which of the nine-realms you call home FEAST on resources, CELEBRATE with Summoners, and make merry… while you can. The Banquet Event features MCoC’s annual anniversary celebrations including the Accolades Event, New Years ‘Ring it in’ Arenas, and Glorious Guardians. Kabam is collaborating with new Marvel title MARVEL Cosmic Invasion to celebrate its launch, introducing a new “Cosmic Invasion Solo Event” in Marvel Contest of Champions for new and existing players to experience and obtain Cosmic Invasion inspired profile pictures and a ‘Cosmic Invasion’ title beginning Dec. 8 through Jan. 8. NEW CHAMPIONS

The chase is almost over and players can look forward to obtaining Eidol IMPERIOSA on Dec. 9 and Mumbattan SPIDER-MAN (PAVITR PRABHAKAR) on Dec. 18.

2025 SUMMONER’S CHOICE CHAMPION JOINS THE BATTLEREALM

The players have spoken and with the power of their vote, MR. KNIGHT is entering The Contest this September and is joined by mutant SILVER SAMURAI! Players will have the opportunity to obtain Silver Samurai on September 11, and Mr. Knight on September 25. What shadows and steel will they bring to The Battlerealm?

Mr. Knight (Summoner’s Choice Winner)

There is a time for a clenched fist and time for a helping hand. When Moon Knight wants to add nuance to his crime-fighting he takes on the persona of Mr. Knight. This gentleman detective can talk his way out of trouble, but is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves for more intensive interrogations.

Silver Samurai

Kenuichio Harada is the mutant son of former Japanese crimelord Shingen Yashida, the head of the influential Clan Yashida in Japan. Harada has mastered the disciplines of the Samurai, with his mutant powers granting him the ability to generate energy from within himself, and transfer said energy through inanimate objects. He uses this gift to empower his sacred Katana, allowing it to cut through nearly anything. Now, like his father, he seeks to run his own criminal underworld.

SUMMONERS FEST – BATTLEREALM BRAWL QUALIFIERS CONCLUDE

After two Seasons of Battlegrounds, the contestants for Battlerealm Brawl will be finalized. The first place Summoners on the Battlerealm Brawl leaderboard at the end of Seasons 30 and 31 will qualify to move on to the Quarter Finals in Vancouver, BC on November 8, 2025, at Summoners Fest! • Event Quest–IN THIS CORNER: Maestro seeks to ensure The Battlerealm is defended, but his methods may not be for everyone. The often contested territory of New Manhattan seeks a protector, and players are being called in to help with a fight tournament. Lead your own team of fighters with Silver Samurai and Summoner’s Choice Champion Mr. Knight to see if this fight reveals New Manhattan’s latest hero, or ends up as a city-wide rumble. This limited time event quest kicks off September 3 and ends October 8.
  
  Try out this new Event Quest featuring ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY which will tune the battle to best challenge and reward your roster! If you’re feeling up to the challenge and want the best possible rewards, toggle on Elder Difficulty which will increase difficulty and allow you to climb further in the milestone reward track.

• Champion Rework: Aleksei Sytsevich stepped into an experimental suit and into a new life of high-speed rampage as the Rhino! Rhino has been reworked with fresh cosmetics and mechanics. Dash a lot, it’s really what he wants to do. Take control of the stage and blast!

• Fantastic Fun Fall Fair Event: Starting September 17, the Fair is coming to The Battlerealm! Take on Fantastic Four-themed Solo Objectives and Arenas to win Prize Vouchers which can be exchanged for prize bundles that include Crystals, Crystal shards, Gold and more.

ALL THINGS FANTASTIC

Anticipation is building for the release of Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and Marvel Contest of Champions has exclusive in-game events, giveaways, and more for its Summoners leading up to the premiere! Here’s what players can look forward to in-game:

• Future Foundation Event: Assist the Fantastic Four with their Future Foundation endeavour by exploring The Battlerealm and completing events and objectives.

• Harness the Power of Mister Fantastic! Look for “Research Grant” collectibles spread across various game modes during the Fantastic FORCE Saga and trade in for a 7-Star Mister Fantastic.

• “Vaults of Variant” – Side Quest: Reed Richards’ new studies on multiverse magic may lead to uncontrolled and violent duplication. Now through July 9, players can assist Reed Richards in the “Vaults of Variant” side quest as he conducts dangerous research in The Multiverse.

• The Fantastic Four Supply Drop: Summoners, beginning June 20 at 4pm PT through August 14 at 4pm PT, make sure your team is as FANTASTIC as they deserve to be by logging in for 7 days of Progression for daily rewards which will ensure that Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, and Thing are joining your roster!

• Heat Wave Sale: The Heat Wave Sale continues! With all the Fantastic adventures happening in The Contest this season, the Human Torch is heating things up. The best way to chill out is obviously with some cool fan-favorite sales featuring useful resources and Champions–Champions such as a 7-Star Human Torch! The limited time sale ends July 7.

VILLAIN TAKEOVER

Stay vigilant–The Contest has introduced manipulative villains THE MAKER and HIGH EVOLUTIONARY to The Battlerealm! Players will have the opportunity to obtain The Maker on July 17, and High Evolutionary on July 31. Will The Contest survive the arrival of these cunning villains? Or will it be forever changed?

High Evolutionary:

Herbert Wyndham began experimenting with genetic manipulation in an attempt to “evolve” rats. He was later approached by a disguised Inhuman who would hand him the blueprints to unlock genetic code. This advanced his experiments to evolving animals into humanoids he called “New Men”. Obsessed in his pursuit of creating the perfect being, Wyndham renamed himself “High Evolutionary.”

The Maker:

A dark descent caused an alternate universe Reed Richards to head towards villainy. Calamities followed, then rejection, murder and finally a confrontation with Sue which resulted in an outraged Johnny scarring Reed’s face. Donning a helmet, Reed became The Maker, founding the Children of Tomorrow and evolving alongside them for thousands of years before returning to remake the world.

Collectable 2-Star Doombots will be available soon! Stay tuned to see how to add these mighty minions to your team!

ALL-NEW QUEST & SPECIAL EVENTS

• Squad Builder: Kabam is launching a brand new type of Quest July 16 unlike anything they have made before that will test both your skill and luck! The goal is to form the highest-scoring Squad possible. Each Squad formation has a score based on ‘Factions’ and ‘Grades’. Build towards the best Squad formation with up to three rounds of swaps. When you are happy with your Squad, or when the swap rounds are done, take on the Boss Fight and lock in your Squad score! The best part about this Quest is that players will receive 52 FREE 2-STAR CHAMPIONS to play with in this mode. If you’re brand new to MCoC, this is the best time to join! The first Squad Builder, the Fantastic Force Recruitment Event, is coming later this month.

• Battlegrounds & Battlerealm Brawl: The qualification for Battlerealm Brawl 2025 has begun! Compete in the Gladiators’ Circuit in Seasons 30 and 31 of Battlegrounds for a chance of being a competitor in Battlerealm Brawl 2025 at Summoners Fest.

• Summoners Fest: With the qualification stage for Battlerealm Brawl 2025 underway, Kabam is launching a “Realm Event” to run alongside Seasons 30 and 31. Players can participate across The Battlerealm to contribute points and collect big rewards. More info on the Summoners Fest can be found on MCoC’s news page.

• “Limited Time Special Event”: The Contest is launching a limited time special event players do not want to miss out on this July! Stay tuned for more in the weeks ahead.
