Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Get ready for the holidays with Battleforces and more!

This year’s seasonal Commemorative Series miniature is “Provisionally Prepared.” It depicts a Ratling sniper team torn between dealing with an incoming attack and a tasty sausage.

The Adepta Sororitas Battleforce: Penitent Crusade Host features a Ministorum Priest who leads 2 Penitent Engines (which can be built as Mortifiers), 9 Sisters Repentia and their Repentia Superior, and 10 Arco-Flagellants, along with 2 Adepeta Sororitas Rhinos. The box also comes with an Adepta Sororitas Transfer sheet which comprises 290 decals.

The Imperial Knights Battleforce: Valourstrike Lance features a Knight Paladin (which can also be built as a Knight Errant) and four Armiger Helverins armed with a pair of devastating Armiger autocannons, which can alternatively be constructed as Armiger Warglaives wielding thermal spears and reaper chain-cleavers. This box also comes with an Imperial Knights Transfer sheet which features 647 decals.

The Necrons Battleforce: Hypercrypt Legion features the C’tan Shard of the Void Dragon, an Overlord with Translocation Shroud, 10 Triarch Praetorians (which can be built as Lychguard), and 10 Necron Warriors accompanied by 3 Canoptek Scarab Swarms.

The T’au Empire Battleforce: Retaliation Cadre features a Commander and drone, a Riptide Battlesuit and two drones, a Ghostkeel Battlesuit and two drones, and a Broadside Battlesuit and two drones, and each battlesuit comes with a choice of supremely destructive ordnance. The box also comes with a T’au Empire Transfer sheet which features 225 decals.

The Dark Angels Battleforce: Inner Circle Task Force features Lion El’Jonson himself, and an Inner Circle Task Force composed of a Chaplain in Terminator armour, 6 Inner Circle Companions, and 10 Deathwing Knights (accompanied by two loyal Watchers in the Dark ). This box also comes with a Dark Angels transfer sheet containing 217 transfers.

The Ironjawz Battleforce: Wrekkamob features 6 Weirdbrute Wrekkaz (which can also be built as Brute Ragerz) are joined 20 Ardboyz, and a Tuskboss on Maw-grunta (which can also be built as a Maw-grunta with Hakkin’ Krew or a Maw-Grunta Gouger).

The Flesh-eater Courts Battleforce: Charnelgrand Jury features a Grand Justice Gormayne, 6 Morbheg Knights, 10 Cryptguard, and 6 Crypt Horrors (which can also be built as winged Crypt Flayers).

The Cities of Sigmar Battleforce: Founding Foray is led by a stern Freeguild Marshal and their Relic Envoy, who are accompanied by a Freeguild Command Corps. They direct 10 Freeguild Fusiliers, an Ironweld Great Cannon, and a Fusil-Major on Ogor Warhulk, and 5 Freeguild Cavaliers.

The Maggotkin of Nurgle: Shudderblight Cyst features a Harbinger of Decay, 5 Putrid Blightkings, 10 Rotmire Creed, and 4 Pusgoyle Blightlords (one of each pair can be built as a Lord of Affliction).

From Black Library comes Eisenhorn: Malleus – Illustrated and Annotated Edition. Gregor Eisenhorn is one of the most infamous Inquisitors, and he cannot escape his past when he is implicated in a great tragedy that brings ruin to Thracian Primaris. The daemon Cherubael has once again returned, and is dedicated to destroying the Inquisitor, be it through death or turning him to the Dark Gods. Written by Dan Abnett, it features five new pieces of art by Tazio Bettin, author commentary throughout the book, and a completely new afterword.

In Skaventide by Gary Kloster, the Vermindoom has torn a huge portion of the Great Parch asunder, and now only the Stormcast Eternals of the Ruination Chamber stand between the perfidious Skaven hordes and their total domination of Aqshy. Both sides are racing to secure a lost Stormcast Eternal who holds forbidden knowledge that will guarantee their victory, and secure the fate of the realm.

In The Ghosts of Barak-Minoz by Guy Haley, Drekki Flynt has found himself in trouble once again, drawn into a new adventure after the previously presumed dead crewmate Evtorr has returned, pursued by assassins from Ulgu and raving about the fabled Dead Air. A mysterious area rumoured to be the last known location of the famed treasure-filled city Barak-Minoz, the mention of Dead Air gets Drekki’s attention… but first, he has to navigate the Eye of Testudinous and live.

Da Red Gobbo Collection featuring stories by Mike Brooks, Denny Flowers, and Rhuairidh James is out in audiobook. It contains five stories: Da Gobbo’s Revenge by Mike Brooks, the novella Da Gobbo’s Demise and short story Da Wrong Type of Green by Denny Flowers, and the novella Da Gobbo Rides Again and the short story The Instigator by Rhuairidh James.

Wolf’s Honour by Lee Lightner is out in audiobook. The Thousand Sons’ long standing enmity with the Space Wolves comes to a head as they launch a devastating assault, with only Ragnar Blackmane and his brothers to stand in their way. Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Necromunda and Dwarves pack the release schedule

Games Workshop has revealed what we can expect for next week’s pre-order and it’s packed with a new wave for Necromunda and the latest army release for the Warhammer: The Old World.

Necromunda: Hive Secundus will have you venturing into the ruins of Hive Secundus. Eight Van Saar Tek-hunters are joined by two Orrrus Spyre Hunters and a Caryatid Prime. They’re up against a corrupted Malstrain Brood which is composed of six Malstrain Genstealers, four Malstrain Tyramites, and eight Brood Scum in thrall to the Brood Mind.

You also get Bulhead Terrain which features five barricades and two doors, two double-sided paper playing surfaces, and a 176-page softback Necromunda: Hive Secundus Rulebook. There’s also a deck of Hive Secundus cards featuring Archeo-loot cards, Underhells Territory cards, Malstrain Forces fighter cards, and blank fighter cards, as well as a token board, a ruler, two blast markers and a flamer template, two rules reference sheets, and 16 Necromunda dice.

Also coming to fill your game board is the Hive Data Stack Cluster. The set features two of them which feature additional storage alcoves and removable data crystal stacks.

Ruined Zone Mortalis features 24 pieces of terrain including damaged and ruined columns, walls, and doors plus a whole selection of extra detritus to add to the atmosphere.

If you’re looking to expand your gang, there are the The Proxy and Fixer. The Proxy is a middleman between Guilders and outlaw gangs. The Fixer helps ease tensions with Guilders when things are at their lowest point. Both are from Forge World and in resin.

The Carta Galactica: The Secundan Exclusion Zone is a new poster map of the Secundan Exclusion Zone. It measures 1,000mm x 890mm and details that part of the Ash Wastes.

Head to Warhammer: The Old World with Arcane Journal: Dwarfen Mountain Holds, a 48-page supplement featuring new rules, lore, and scenarios. There are three named characters, a host of special units including the legendary Goblin Hewer and Dogs of War otions. There are are two Armies of Infamy allowing you to field a Royal Clan and Expeditionary Force, as well as Runes and Runic Tattoos.

The Dwarfen Mountain Holds Battalion allows you to quickly build your force. It features 32 Dwarf Warriors, 32 Quarrelers which can be built as Thunderers, and 2 Gyrocopters which can be built as Gyrobombers.

You can also get the Dwarfen Mountain Holds Reference Card Pack, Dice Set, and Transfer Sheet. The pack contains 56 cards with reference rules and runic abilities. The dice feature 20 of them in stone grey with gold pips and a Dwarfen Mountain Holds emblem on the six face. The transfers sheet features 962 transfers. There’s runic emblems, 260 Klinkarhun runes, and more!

Ungrim Ironfist, the Slayer King of Karak Kadrin… the Slayer King is back! The legendary Dwarf character is represented in his earlier years and wields the mighty Axe of Dargo and wears the Slayer Crown. This miniature is in Forge World resin.

There’s also Dwarf Lords with Shieldbearers which features a Thane on foot and a King carried by three dedicated bodyguards, with interchangeable weapons allowing one to wield a hand weapon and shield and the other can wield a hefty great weapon.

The Dwarf Thane with Handgun on Oathstone is ready to lead. Oathstones ar more than just elevated platforms, their presence helps immunie a unit from Panic tests. This miniature is made from Forge World resin.

Get some classics with the Classic Dwarf Characters. Runesmiths, Engineers, the Dwarf Command Set, and Slayer Command Set are all back.

Build up your force with Classic Dwarf Troops like Warriors, Slayers, Hammerers, Ironbreakers, Quarrelers, and Thunderers are all ready to join your army.

Classic Dwarf Mercenaries are ready to march to war and be added to your Dogs of War contingent. There’s also Slayers/Doomseekers returning featuring four metal characters in one pack.

Classic Dwarf War Engines are here including the Grudge Thrower and Bolt Thrower, Goblin-Hewer, and Flame Cannon.

Finally, get to more classics with The Anvil of Doom and Bugman’s Cart. The Anvil of Doom is a powerful unit to focus runic energies that allows the Forgefather to strike freshly forged runes upon its surface instilling Dwarves with powerful books that harden their armor and instill their weapons with strength. Bugmans Cart also helps deliver some non-magical power that helps boost nearby warrior’s speed.

From Black Library comes the Dead Men Walking (Special Edition) by Steve Lyons. After mining operations awaken vengeful Necrons, the Death Korps of Krieg are brought in, and the death toll rapidly rises as two remorseless forces face off. The special edition has a canvas cover with screen-printed art, black printed page edges, and a brown ribbon bookmark.
