Below is a guest post showcasing some awesome Doctor Who inspired clothing! – Management
BBC’s Doctor Who has become rather mainstream in recent years, which is but a testament to its excellence. While actors and writers have come and gone, the show and its concept remain. Old fans carry on, as enthusiastic as ever. New fans arrive in droves.
For every real fan, old or new, there’s nothing like a t-shirt with a Doctor Who reference to delight them.
Even better if the reference is not too obvious that only other fans will recognize it.
There are tons – probably literally – of Doctor Who t-shirts you can buy, but here are five of my favorites, not in the least because you’ll probably make meet new friends who get the reference.
There’s More on the Inside
Every Doctor Who fan always keeps an ear open for that distinctive sound the TARDIS makes. One day, we all hope to hear it and actually see the blue box materialize out of nowhere.
While we wait for that, this t-shirt design should keep us busy with all Doctor Who-related things – including enemies/monsters. Can you spot “Are you my mummy?”.
Get it here.
A Scream of Silence
This t-shirt design gives a nicely freaky alien twist to the classic painting that everyone recognizes. When you wear this tee, you will be getting second – or even third – looks for sure. But that’s because people will be wondering what the heck happened.
Unless they’re Doctor Who fans.
Then they’ll probably introduce themselves and/or ask where you got your t-shirt from.
When that happens, tell them to get it here.
Keep Calm and Don’t Blink
So I’m not normally a fan of the “Keep Calm” meme, but every now and then, there’s one that catches my eye.
This “Keep Calm and Don’t Blink” t-shirt may seem innocuous to the uninitiated, but we Whovians know better, right? Good enough that we will actually follow the instructions if we find ourselves face to face with, arguably, the scariest Doctor Who villain.
As simple as this design may be, I think it’s one of the best ones exactly because of its subtlety.
You can get it here

Hell in High Heels

Another design that is beautifully subtle that non-Whovians won’t get is this official tee, “Hell in High Heels.”
Even if you’re not a high heels person, there’s no reason not to get and wear this tee. In case your memory needs refreshing [SPOILER ALERT], this is from the Episode “The Wedding of River Song”, Season 6 Episode 13.
The Doctor is talking with Churchill, who says, “You mentioned a woman…What’s she like? Attractive, I assume.”
To which the Doctor replied, “Hell. In high heels.”
Just remembering this episode makes my heart thump…
And you know what would be awesome? If you wore this tee, and a gorgeous stranger comes up to you and says, “Hello sweetie.”
Here’s where you can get the t-shirt, and try to be hell in high heels. I say try because how can you match someone like River?
All of Time and Space

This would make for a pretty cool tattoo, and even non-Whovians would be interested in the design.
For Whovians, though, the simple phrase “All of time and space” can make one’s blood run wild. Or make one’s heart twinge. (Unfortunately we only have one heart and not two, ‘ya know.)
If you’ve already got ink, then you might as well get this as a tattoo – but ask permission from the artist Megan Lara first. If you’re averse to needles (there’s nothing wrong with that), then this t-shirt is the next best thing.
This is where you can buy it.
Regretfully, we’re out of space and time, but hopefully, the above t-shirts will give you enough shopping ideas for the next month.
