Pick of the Week – Criminal: Last of the Innocent #2

Bookmark and Share

I’ve always waited for trade paperbacks to read Criminal, but Criminal: Last of the Innocent got such amazing praise when it first came out I had to see what all of the chatter was about, and it was well worth it.  Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips consistently bring it in this series with some of the best comic book noir on the market.  Absolutely fantastic stuff and I’m sure the second issue will be no exception.

  1. Criminal: Last of the Innocent #2 – See above.
  2. Fly #2 – I’ve actually read the first three issues of the series (review soon) and this tale about a drug that gives you abilities is amazing.
  3. X-Men: Schism #2 – The first issue blew me away and at this point everything is on the table.  I expect people to die and lots of fighting to go along with some amazing art.  The X-Men are back!
  4. Green Hornet #17 – Phil Hester has been killing it when it comes to this series, beyond solid.
  5. Fables #107 – With a new spin-off announced, we’re left wonder how we’ll get there and what comes after the battle with Mr. Dark?
