Cards Comics Collectibles graphicREISTERSTOWN, MD – May 3, 2012 – In honor of 2012’s Free Comic Book Day promotion, Cards, Comics and Collectibles of Reisterstown, MD will be celebrating along with the rest of the nation on May 5, 2012.  Come and meet Top Cow publisher Filip Sablik from 11am-3pm and artists John Gallagher (Buzzboy, Roboy Red) and Steve Conley (Star Trek, Bloop!) sketching and signing all day!  Steve will have 100 free limited edition 11″x17″ Bloop! Free Comic Book Day prints as well (while supplies last!).

FCBD Specials — We will be having sales throughout the store, including modern back-issues in bins for only one dollar! Come see character appearances by Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America between 11am and 1pm!  And don’t forget we’re also giving away free comics while they last!  Our hours for Free Comic Book Day are 11am-7pm.

Frank Cho to Sign at Cards, Comics & Collectibles for Avengers vs. X-Men Release Party

Avengers vs. X-Men 01 (Cho)Cards, Comics & Collectibles, the official retailer and news source for the Baltimore Comic-Con, is happy to announce that superstar artist Frank Cho will be signing in-store on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 for their Avengers vs. X-Men Release Party. The store will reopen for the party at 8:00 pm and Cho will begin signing at 8:30.

Cho, the artist on Avengers vs. X-Men #0 (which was released this week), is best known for his creator-owned series, Liberty Meadows. His body of work also includes Marvel’s New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Shanna the She-Devil, New Ultimates, and X-Men: Schism, as well as Jungle Girl for Dynamite Entertainment. In addition to signing, Cho will also bring his original art for Avengers vs. X-Men #0 for fans to see how the book came together.

Cards Comics and Collectibles welcomes Cliff Chiang on Wednesday, September 28th from 3pm-7pm.

Cliff is the artist of the new DC 52 Wonder Woman series, the critically-acclaimed graphic novel “Neil Young’s Greendale,” as well as Swamp Thing, Human Target, and others.

Wonder Woman # 1 ships on 9/21 with that week’s new DC #1’s!  The new DC 52 are a hit and CC&C have them! Other stores have sold out but we still have first printings @ cover price!

We also offer each week’s issues in special packs, bagged, boarded and 25% off cover price!
