On June 16, Diamond Comic Distributors filed a “motion for intervention” attempting to tag-team in with Sparkle Pop and make it a two on one match. It comes out swinging going over the history and stating it was Alliance that “violated the bidding procedures order and court approved bidding procedures” by refusing to more forward with their winning bid. Alliance has accused Diamond of fraud during the process which is later highlighted in the motion.

The motion also includes the cease-and-desist that was sent to Alliance Entertainment.
