We have the scoop that the debut issue from Magma Comix, Chasing the Dragon #1, has sold out.
Chasing the Dragon explores a dark fantasy world ravaged by the rampant abuse of a drug made from the blood of dragons. When two young slaves discover a terrible secret that could change the course of the world, will a meek alchemist’s apprentice and a drug-addled concubine survive long outside their cages?
The comic by Denton J. Tipton and Menton3 was released in comic shops on February 24 and shops may still have copies.
When announcing the news, Magma Comix stated “We are monitoring reorders, and prepared for a second printing if there’s demand.”
Chasing the Dragon #2 comes to comic shops on April 7 and can be ordered with Diamond Code JAN211377.
Magma Comix is a new line of creator-owned comics imprint of Heavy Metal Entertainment headed up by Denton J. Tipton. The first title, written by Tipton, Chasing the Dragon debuts on February 24.
