Deadpool Hits the Big Screen in 2016

Deadpool is finally coming to the big screen. It has been announced that the film will be released February 12, 2016, though it’s unsure if Ryan Reynolds will star in it. The actor played the character in the dreadful Wolverine: Origins. Tim Miller will direct. We learned of the news via Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld through Facebook.

The prospect of a Deadpool movie seems to have gone into overdrive when test footage by Blur Studios leaked online earlier in the year just after San Diego Comic Con.

In other Fox movie news, Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is being moved from June 19, 2015 to August 7, 2015. The Assassin’s Creed film also by Fox has been totally removed from the 2015 summer calendar.
