DC Launches New Nielsen Survey

DC Comics is looking to learn more about comic book readers and has launched it’s second survey through Nielsen.  This is the second time they’ve done so, the first being a bit after the launch of the new 52.

After some demographic questions, the survey dives into the new 52 and purchasing habits of individuals including a person bought, how they bought (print or digital) and a bit if they bought any issues after the first.

There’s a lot of focus on digital comic books and how people are purchasing them as well as promotion of comic books.  I can’t help but think all these surveys accomplish is how to talk to the current comic book fan universe, instead of how to expand the market.  We’ll see though.

You can take the survey here.
