Tuesday’s Twitter #comicmarket discussion was pretty fast a furious with lots of new participants and some lurkers coming out of the woods.  A lot of the discussion was interesting but my main question of what stores are doing to encourage their customers to spread the word remains unanswered.  Guess, I’ll keep pressing for that question.

Today is also new comic day, what are you picking up?  While you contemplated what you’re going to purchase this week, here’s the news you might have missed.

Around the Blogs:

Bleeding Cool – DC Looking To Relaunch Everything In SeptemberThis news caused a hell of a lot of discussion online yesterday.

Kotaku – Our Surprising First Look at How Gotham City Impostors Does Batman Vs. JokerThe art style looks great and I can’t wait to play it.

Kotaku – The Atari Games That Became Comic Book HeroesSome cheesy awesomeness right there.  I probably have a copy sitting somewhere.

The Beat – Free Comic Book Day 2011 by the numbers: $1.5 million in publicityI really wonder how that publicity number is generated.

MTV Geek – ComicNerd Compiles Your Digital Comics Into One Collection! Now we just need a reader that can read those comics, no matter the purchase point or format.
