Kickstarter Spotlight: Billy The Pyro Vol. 1

In a world of teenage angst and superpowers, comes the Billy The Pyro Vol. 1 Kickstarter.

Growing up and trying to find yourself can be very challenging. This is especially true for, Billy. Having to deal with an abusive and troubled life. Billy struggles to find himself as he tries to get by anyway he can. Soon finding out that he has been genetically altered by a government research institution. Learns that he’s able to produce and control the element of fire. Left with even more questions, Billy must learn to cope with his newfound ability as he struggles to put his past behind him. Eventually teaming up with the government institution, Billy discovers who he really is and his purpose in life.

This is actually the second Kickstarter for the Billy the Pyro series. Which the first one was to put together the first issue. Shortly after the success of that Kickstarter. BTP was picked up by Alterna Comics and has been publishing the digital issues ever since. Now I’m back on Kickstarter looking for your help to fund the print run of the first volume of the series.

Billy The Pyro Vol. 1 will collect the first 4 issues of the series, along with a behind the scenes section and a pinup section featuring various artist. Volume one will be 120 pages in total.

It’s been a long journey getting to this point, and once this gets Kickstarter gets funded. It’ll be a lifelong dream of mine accomplished. I’ve always wanted to see a comic book of mine on comic store shelves. And with your help, this can be achieved.
