G.I. Joe: Battleground Reveals New Event and Trade Feature

fb_sd5DeNA’s action-packed card battle game G.I. Joe: Battleground is back with a new special event called Congo Clash. This thrilling event runs today through October 15, 2013. In addition to the event, G.I. Joe: Battleground is introducing a new trading feature in the game. Please see full details below, including a link to new game assets.

On a routine flight patrol, the Joe’s Tiger Force has discovered a Cobra power base in the depths of the Congo. Tiger Force immediately engages in a heated firefight to destroy Cobra’s energy source in the region. In response to this threat, Cobra sends out Python Patrol to turn the tide of the battle in Cobra’s favor. Will Tiger Force or Python Patrol prevail and prove they’re the kings of the jungle? And more importantly, why is Cobra operating a power base out in the middle of nowhere? Find out when you play this week’s Congo Clash event!

Trading is now available in G.I. Joe: Battleground! Players can now trade their favorite Joe and Cobra characters with each other. Trade and build the most powerful squads or trade to complete your collection of units. It’s time to look through all of your units to see which ones you need and what you’re willing to offer other players.
