Review: Vampirella #0

It’s a new volume for the classic character.

Beginning a new and VERY different direction! Vampirella was last spotted in 2016 doing what she does best-defending the world from threats both mystic and evil. She hasn’t been seen since. Now, over a thousand years later, she’s poised to make her fateful return, but the world that awaits her is unlike anything she might expect-or want to defend! It’s the start of an adventure for Vampirella unlike any she’s had in her long and storied history. Don’t miss the train before it leaves the station!

It’s a new beginning in the fourth volume for the classic horror-centric heroine Vampirella. The world has changed a lot since she last stepped out of the darkness. While not much is revealed as to what the state of the world is. It does make one curious to find out. Writer Paul Cornell does a great job as far as that.

The art by Jimmy Broxton is dark, almost mysterious in nature. It all comes together to reveal very little about the world or the prophecy that foretells her awakening. The clothing the characters wear does suggest it takes place at some point in the future. But a lot remains to be seen and I can’t wait to find out.

Well, when I was younger I wanted to be writer or power ranger from what I recall.Growing up I read constantly, and slowly started to write. Over time my interests changed, but my love of writing remained. I originally went to college for mechanical engineering but dropped out to financial reasons beyond my control.Going through college I wrote when I could, since that has always been a passion. I spend my free time writing, reading and helping out my local FIRST robotics team.

My first book The Nightshadow Chronicles is available through B & N, amazon, google play and other major ebook retailers.
